BHU, popularly known as Banaras Hindu University, has several faculties on its campus which provide higher education in a myriad of fields. One of the most popular among these is the Faculty of Law. BHU offers law courses under its Faculty of Law at the undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and diploma levels. Law aspirants can pursue BA LLB (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law), LLB (Bachelor of Law), LLM (Master of Law - 1 year and 2 years both), Ph.D, or a postgraduate diploma from the Faculty of Law of the Banaras Hindu University.

Note: More questions are based on static general knowledge than current affairs. History and Geography comprise a heavy section of the exam, as compared to any other law entrance in India. Apart from this, the question paper also has a language comprehension section which has two parts. In these parts, questions are given in Hindi and English. Students have to choose any of the parts but they cannot attempt both.
