IIM Kashipur admission 2024 is ongoing for MBA (Analytics), EMBA and PhD programmes. The last date for admission in MBA (Analytics) and PhD programmes is February 29, 2024 while for EMBA programme, the application last date is February 9, 2024. For EMBA programme, the EMAT exam will be conducted on February 10.

IIM Kashipur admission is offered for MBA, EMBA and PhD programmes in full-time mode. IIM Kashipur MBA admission is based on candidate's performance in CAT exam followed by PI round. Admission to other courses, such as EMBA programme is based on CAT/GMAT or Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) conducted for IIM Kashipur admission followed by a Personal Interview (PI). Further, IIM Kashipur admission process for PhD programme is based on GMAT, GRE, CAT, GATE, JRF (NET), and IIMB Test. Note that, IIMB test is a PhD admission test conducted by IIM Bangalore and scores of this exam are accepted for IIM Kashipur admission to PhD programme. 

How to Get Admission in IIM Kashipur? 

• Visit the official website of IIM Kashipur which is iimkashipur.ac.in.
• Go to IIM Kashipur admission login.
• Click on “Apply Now” and fill out the detailed application form.
• Enter all details like academic details, name, personal details, course, etc.
• Once the form is filled, pay the application fee as per the course. 
• The application fee for the General candidates for IIM Kashipur MBA Analytics is Rs 1,500 and for the reserved candidates, it is RS 750.
• For the PhD application, for GMAT / GRE / CAT / GATE / JRF (NET) in one area is Rs 1,000 and in 2 areas is Rs 2,000. For IIMB, in 1 area, the fee is Rs 2,000 and for 2 areas it is Rs 3,000.

The MBA Analytics programme is a 2-year residential programme offered by the institute. The detailed admission process for the MBA Analytics course is mentioned below for the reference of students.

IIM Kashipur MBA Analytics Eligibility

1. The basic eligibility criteria to apply for the course include that the candidate must possess a full-time Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks for the General category, 47% for the NC-OBC/EWS categories, and, 45% marks for SC/ST/DAP. 
2. The candidate must possess a valid score of CAT or GMAT score, provided the GMAT exam was not taken earlier than May 1, 2021. 

If the candidate fulfils the eligibility criteria, the following steps must be followed for admission to the MBA Analytics course:

Stage 1: Obtain the online application form through the website iimkashipur.ac.in and submit the duly filled form with attached documents. 

Stage 2: Pay the IIM Kashipur MBA Analytics fees for application which is Rs 750 for candidates belonging to NC-OBC/SC/ST/DAP/EWS categories, and Rs 1500 for others. 

Stage 3: Candidates are shortlisted based on the CAT/GMAT scores, work experience, educational qualification, gender, and, other criteria.

Stage 4: Appear for the Personal Interview (PI) round if shortlisted. 

The IIM Kashipur MBA Analytics eligibility criteria and selection would be based on the Personal Interview round which possesses 20 marks and the Shortlist Score which possesses 80 marks. The breakdown of the Shortlist Score is given below.

• For admission to the EMBA course of the institute, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree recognised by the UGC/AIU with minimum marks of 50% for the General category, 47% for the NC-OBC, and, 45% for SC, ST, DAP. 
• As per the next IIM Kashipur eligibility criteria for EMBA course, minimum 3 years of Managerial/Entrepreneurial/Professional experience after Graduation is a must.

IIM Kashipur admission criteria for international students are different from Indian students. As per the MBA admission policy for overseas candidates, a 50% marks in any university incorporated by the act of central or state legislature shall be required for admission. International students can apply for the MBA programme through GMAT scores along with CAT scores. The total number of seats for international students at IIM Kashipur is 12. The annual fee for international students for the MBA programme is USD 20,000 per year.

IIM Kashipur GD-PI is the second step for admission after qualifying the admission cut off. Candidates shortlisted after qualifying IIM Kashipur CAT cut off need to appear for CAP round. Preparation of situational interview questions: Chirag Dixit, an MBA 2020 batch student of IIM Kashipur, was asked the question "What would he do if his boss asked him to lie about something to sell their product". Stay updated with current affairs: Students willing to crack IIM Kashipur interview are suggested to brush up on their general knowledge and current affairs. Admission in IIM Kashipur without CAT is offered for MBA (Analytics) and EMBA programmes. Students willing to get admission in MBA Analytics programme can apply if they have GMAT exam scores. Is CAT Mandatory to Take Admission in IIM Kashipur?

No, CAT is not mandatory for IIM Kashipur admission for any programme other than MBA programme. IIM Kashipr MBA Analytics and EMBA programme is offered based on GMAT scores as well. The Executive MBA is an intensive two-year post-graduate programme in management that allows students with valid EMAT scores to apply for the course. 

Admission at IIM Kashipur without CAT

IIM Kashipur admission without CAT is possible if students want to get admission in the MBA Analytics or EMBA programme. The MBA Analytics programme is different from the MBA programme due to the acceptance of GMAT scores for admission to MBA Analytics. However, the course duration for each of the programmes remains the same. Further, the Executive MBA programme is a two-year programme exclusively designed for middle and senior-level working professionals. This programme enables students to earn the degree while continuing their existing jobs. 

Admission in IIM after the 12th can be done if a student is willing to pursue an integrated MBA programme. However, IIM Kashipur does not offer any Integrated MBA Programme (IPM) at the institute as of now. Hence, IIM Kashipur admission after 12th is currently not viable. Students have to complete an undergraduate programme and have to appear and qualify the CAT/GMAT/EMAT exam for admission at Indian Institute of Management Kashipur.

How to Apply for IIM Kashipur Admission?

• Candidates can fill out the application form online at IIM Kashipur’s official website.
• Relevant test scores include the CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/JRF (UGC/CSIR)/UGC-NET. The test result must be current at the time the application form is submitted. Only the last two years' worth of test results are considered.
• The following documents are included in the package: degrees and certificates. Self-attested copies of mark sheets or transcripts of grades gained throughout the study are required for the above degrees. Transcripts in languages other than Hindi and English must be certified translated.
• To apply, a student has to fill out an online application and pay Rs 2000 as the IIM Kashipur application fee on the institute's official website. 
• A 94 percent CAT result is valid for shortlisting, along with other factors such as academics, diversity, job experience, and performance in PI.
• References with contact information and email addresses at IIM Kashipur should be provided by academics who have taught the candidate or with whom the candidate has engaged in scholarly work. The candidate's supervisor at work may be able to provide a reference if the candidate has been absent from the institution for a long period.

MBA:
