Eligibility Criteria for UPES B.Des Admission

To apply for B.Des at UPES, it is mandatory to satisfy the following eligibility criteria prescribed by the university itself.

1. Applicants must have completed the Higher and Senior Secondary Level or Class 10th and Class 12th in any stream.

2. The candidate must have acquired at least 50% marks in both class 10th and class 12th from a recognised board of education.

How to Apply for UPES B.Des Admission

Online Process:

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPES.

Step 2: Click on “Apply Now” mentioned at the top of the page.

Step 3: Enter all the personal details including full name, DOB, Gender, Nationality, mobile number, e-mail address etc.

Step 5: Make the application fee payment.

Step 1: Purchase the prospectus and application form of UPES DAT from any nearby admission counter of UPES. You can also DD and purchase the application form.

Selection Process for UPES B.Des Admission

There are two selection processes through which an individual can secure UPES B.Des Admission. Both of them are described in detail below:

Examination Pathway:

In this, an individual has to first appear for UPES DAT (UPES Design Aptitude Test) which is soon followed by a personal interview. After both rounds, an aspirant has to present a work portfolio. The final selection is done based on the overall performance in all the aforementioned rounds.

Non-Examination Pathway:

Candidates are shortlisted for an interview and work portfolio presentation based on the score acquired in NIFT, NID or UCEED exam. Board Merit is also considered to finalise candidates for the interview rounds.
