UPES Dehradun MBA : Fees, Courses, Eligibility & Admission 2025

Overall: I had a bittersweet experience at UPES Dehradun. I got admission in MBA based on UPESMET and got 20% waiver on tution fee as i had more than 80% in graudation. I passed out in 2021 and in two years I learnt a lot bout the university. Firstly, the faculty needs to be improved. Secondly, the hostels were not at all maintained and there was not decorum in hostels. The only thing i liked about UPES was it tieups with companies for placements.

Placement: The only good thing i can say about UPES Dehradun is its placement. The university has excellent placement record for MBA and BTech batches. I got pre-placement offers during my 4th semester. Placement is one thing for which i am greatful to UPES.

Infrastructure: Despite having a huge campus, the facilities at UPES Dehradun are not upgraded as per lastest standard. The computer labs still have old softwares. However, the university has installed projectors in classrooms but most of them are unfunctional.

Faculty: Faculty particulary has been the most disappointed aspect for me. Our classes got cancelled regulary. Even when classes were conducted, professors just use to kill the time. There were only handful of professors who were really interested in teaching.

Hostel: I stayed in hostel for one semester and after that i rented out a flat nearby the campus. There was no discipline or decorum in the hostel. Students used to go out during night right under the nose of warden. Depsite charing hefty fee of Rs 1,65,000-2,20,000 per annum, there wasn't comfort. The good thing was food at mess.

Overall: I think UPES is the best college to get good placement for low scorer in CAT exam. This college provides best facilities and skilled Faculty. Great experience

Placement: Placement are decent here, like 6 lakhs per annum average package. And 97% placement. This college provides best company to visit campus and recruitment.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure in UPES college I feel very decent and hygienic. Although I got some issues but overall rememberable experience with Infrastructure of college.

Faculty: One of the best part of this college is trained and skilled Faculty provided. I feel all faculty except one are humble and outstanding in terms of teaching.

Hostel: Hostel facility provided here is great . Although I have not ever lived in hostel there. But my friends were happy about hostel facility provided by college.

Overall: I'm a student of UPES Dehradun and that is my interest. I got admission with the help of CollegeDekho Team. I am very much happy with campus facilities. The staffs are very experienced and knowledgeable.This college is an amazing place to be with the right people. Cultural society is amazing. Students can engage in variety of events from street plays to fest management etc.

Overall: I sugeest students if they want to get placed in reputed companies who offerd huge packages then they must join this college for better future opportunities.

Overall: Studying here from last 3 years and I can assure you that if you guys take addmission in this college you surely get placed with high pacakge as top companies offers placements.

Overall: OK, so bad puns aside, joining UPES was one of the best decisions of my career. From its iconic campus in the middle of the Himalayas, to modern classrooms and advanced labs, everything at UPES gives a global feel. The faculty is highly knowledgeable and supportive of your efforts. You can go to them with any problem and they are always ready to provide answers. The university maintains its reputation when it comes to placements as well. The course fee is a little on the higher side but the university will always help you get the best returns and deliver business-class standards of education in the Aviation field!!

Overall: UPES is a very reputable university and it is considered to be one of the best colleges in Dehradun. MBA in Oil and Gas Management is a flagship course of the university and this is one of the most popular choice of students who come to study at UPES. The overall atmosphere is very learning-friendly and the overall experience is more than satisfactory.

Placement: The placements are good and many students are able to get more than Rs. 10 lakhs per annum. But it can definitely be better as the college fees is also high so a good placement is needed to get good returns. The good thing is that a lot of companies visit the campus for placements and the university helps students to start their career.

Infrastructure: UPES has a excellent infrastructure especially when you compare it to other colleges in the city. The classrooms have projectors and the labs are also have good equipment. There is WiFi availability all over the campus. Hostel facility are also great but limited so many students live in private hostels near the college. The location is amazing with mountains all around and a very peaceful and clean environment.

Faculty: All of the faculty members of our batch were well-qualified and had good experience and most were good at teaching and very helpful except for some. The curriculum is also structured well and up to par with the latest standards.
