Every year, a number of students from West Bengal and its adjacent states apply for the BBIT admission process. Students must apply with a valid entrance exam score. The entrance exam varies from course to course. For example, the institute accepts JEE Main, WBJEE, or JELET (Lateral Entry) scores for admission to its B.Tech programmes. On the other hand, GATE or PGET is the entrance test for BBIT M.Tech admissions. To get admission to BBIT Kolkata B.Tech programmes, students will have first to pass class 12 and then appear for the JEE Mains or WBJEE exams.
MBA is offered at BBIT Kolkata in the following specialisations: Business Analytics, Finance, Health Care, Human Resources, Marketing, operations, and Systems.
The eligibility criteria for the Polytechnic programme at BBIT Kolkata is to pass in class 10 exam from a recognised school board. Students must have achieved a minimum of 35% marks in Class 10 to be eligible for the Polytechnic course. After that, students will have to qualify for the JEXPO or VOCLET examination.
For admission to the BBIT Kolkata M.Tech programme, students will have to score a minimum of 45% marks in the respective engineering stream from a recognised college. Students will also have to qualify for the GATE exam.
