Candidates must have passed an AICTE-approved Diploma in Engineering course from a State Board of Technical Education institute with 50% (40% for SC/ST candidates) aggregate marks.

Candidates are admitted to the MPharma programme on the basis of merit as follows.
Candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognized board to be eligible for BSc admissions. However, certain other stream-wise eligibility criteria also apply.
Nutrition and Dietetics: Physics, Chemistry and Maths/Biology as subjects. Students with a home science or agriculture background with 50% aggregate marks are also eligible.
Biotechnology: Physics, Chemistry and Maths/Biology as main subjects. Students who have passed class 10th + 3-year Diploma in any stream from a State Board of Technical Education or Equivalent are also eligible.
Non-Medical: Physics, Chemistry and Maths as main subjects with 50% (45% for reserved categories) aggregate marks in 12th.
Hospitality and Hotel Administration: Candidate must have studied English as a subject in 12th. Candidate must not be more than 25 years of age (3 year age relaxation provided to SC category aspirants).
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science / Agriculture / Pharmacy / Veterinary / Engineering / Medicine (MBBS) / Medical Lab Technology / Nursing programmes.
Candidates must have a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved category candidates) marks in the bachelor’s course.
