Unlike previous years, the SGGSCC admission 2022 will be based on common entrance exams for both UG and PG courses. For the undergraduate courses, the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) will be accepted. For PG admissions, the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) will be conducted. The DUET 2022 exam is still to be conducted in the month of October. The schedule for the DUET PG as released by the NTA is October 17, 18, 19, 20, and, 21, 2022. For the PG and PhD admissions, students must register at pgadmission.uod.ac.in.
The CUET UG Results 2022 were declared on September 16, 2022, by the NTA. The results are available on cuet.samarth.ac.in. For the further process, students have to register on the CSAS portal which is active since September 12, 2022. The second phase of CSAS begins today, where students will be selecting their preferences for colleges and courses.
The detailed SGGSCC admission 2022 process is mentioned below for the CUET-based courses:
- For the further process for UG courses, the CSAS registration and course selection are the major steps.
- The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) consists of 3 phases.
- In the first phase, aspiring candidates apply to Delhi University.
- They select their preferences for college and course combinations in the second phase.
- In the third phase, seat allotment takes place.
- After their acceptance of seats and payment of the SGGSCC fees, the admission process will be completed.
- Admissions will strictly be done on the basis of the “Subject-based Normalised Scores”. These scores are mentioned by the NTA on the CUET Result 2022 scorecards.
- The CSAS phase 2 starts today, September 26, 2022, and will be open till October 10, 2022. Students will be selecting their programmes and colleges in this phase.
- The DU and CUET Samarth guidelines have instructed students to select as many combinations of colleges and courses as possible. This will ease the process of seat allotment.
- Both, phase 1 and phase 2 of CSAS DU are open till October 10, 2022.
- The university will also auto-calculate the programme-specific merit scores of students.
- Once the preference-filling will be completed, the CSAS seat-allotment phase will start. This will be the third and last phase where seats will be allotted on a tentative basis.
- Tentative basis implies, that if a candidate accepts the allotted seat within the mentioned deadline, the seat will be confirmed. However, if he or she fails to do so, the seat will be considered a “Decline” and passed on to the next deserving candidate on the list.
- A two-day window for students will be available. This will be an opportunity for reordering the college and course preferences.
- There will also be a Mid-Entry window apart from this, which will be activated after the second round of seat-allotment. This will be a one-time window as of now but may reopen if needed.
- The date of the first list of SGGSCC admission 2022 will be declared by October 10, 2022.
