SOA Bhubaneswar Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 or must be appearing for 10+2 in an equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Computer Science / Information Technology /Biotechnology / Biology / Informatics / Statistics or any other subject as approved by the appropriate authority.
• The aspirant must have secured at least 50% marks taken together in the subjects mentioned.

SOAU B.Tech Lateral Entry Eligibility Criteria 2020

The candidate must have passed three-year Diploma examination or must be appearing for (in the year 2020) three-year Diploma examination in Engineering with at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) from State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha or equivalent.

OR

The aspirant must have passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and must have passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.

• The aspirant must have passed or must have appeared at three year Bachelor Degree in any discipline from any recognized University
• The aspirant must have qualified the Bachelor Degree with at least 50% of marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC Category) having Mathematics at 10+2 level or at +3 level.

SOAU M.C.A. Lateral Entry Eligibility Criteria 2020

• The candidate must have passed or must have appeared (in the year 2020) in three years Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), B.Sc. in Information Technology (H) and B.Sc. in Computer Science (H) or equivalent with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level.
• The aspirant must have passed the bachelor degree with at least an aggregate of 50% of marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination from any recognized University.

• The aspirant must have passed or must have appeared in B.E. / B.Tech / AMIE /MCA/M.Sc. in the respective and relevant discipline or equivalent.
• Candidates having MCA and M.Sc. (Maths) degree are eligible for M.Tech in Computer Science & Data Processing. Candidates with M.Sc. (Electronics) are eligible for M.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering and M.Tech. in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. M.Sc. in Computer Science and IT are eligible for M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering and CS & IT respectively. A candidate with  B.Tech. (Environmental / Chemical / Civil / Mechanical / Metallurgy) or M.Sc. (Environmental Science / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Geology / Life Science / Botany / Zoology) is eligible for M.Tech. in Environmental Science & Technology. For M.Tech. Material Science & Technology candidate must have M.Sc. (Physics) / M.Sc. (Chemistry) / B.Tech. (Electronics & Communication Engg.) / B.Tech (Electrical Engg.) For M.Tech. in Biotechnology, candidates having B.Tech./B.E. in Biotechnology or related fields / M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Science or equivalent / MBBS / B.Pharm./B.V.Sc. with Biology as a subject at +2 level is eligible.
• For admission to M.Tech, candidates have to pass the qualifying examination with at least 50% marks.
