St Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT), Mangalore M.B.A. Admission 2023

The admission in MBA at St Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology is based on KMAT (Karnataka Management Entrance Entrance Test) conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association). The institute also accepts CAT and CMAT scores to provide admission in MBA. It is to be noted that MAT score will not be considered for MBA admission in Kerala. AIMIT MBA Eligibility Criteria 2019

The aspiring candidates for MBA courses need to have a Bachelor degree with minimum 3 years duration/Master degree examination from a recognized university, and have secured at least 50% marks in the aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidate) followed by a valid score of any one of the national or state level entrance exams like CAT and CMAT. The final year of bachelor’s degree candidate is also eligible for the test.

Students belonging from Kerala, whose parents are an employee of Govt. of Kerala or Central Govt. will get preference and some relaxation in eligibility in the form of native eligibility.

AIMIT MBA Application Process 2019

The applicants who are aspiring for MBA admission at AIMIT Mangalore can apply online directly through college website by furnishing their basic and academic details, once the institute releases the notification for the admission.

But before that, all the candidates have to appear for the national level management entrance exams such as CMAT, CAT, and KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test).

AIMIT MCA Eligibility criteria 2019

  • Admission to MCA course for Karnataka candidates is made based on either PGCET conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) and also for Karnataka and Non-Karnataka candidates through PGCET / KMAT conducted by Karnataka Unaided Private Colleges Association Authority.
  • The candidates with 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) in the bachelor’s degree with Computer Science as the main subject are eligible to compete for MCA admission at AIMIT.

AIMIT MCA Application Process 2019

  • Interested candidates have to apply either for PGCET conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) or for KMAT conducted by Karnataka Unaided Private Colleges Association Authority. The mode of the application is online for KMAT.
  • Candidates have to register themselves by furnishing all the basic academic and personal details of their own. They are required to pay the fee for the application without which application form will be considered incomplete.
  • Once the result is declared for the entrance examination if shortlisted candidates will be called for the final selection which is based on GD and PI.

Eligibility for M.Sc.( Software Technology)

  • Candidates should have passed any one of the B.Sc. degree with computer Science/ Computer Application (Vocational) s optional/ major/ subsidiary subjects or B.Sc. (Hons) degree with Computer Science/ Computer systems/ Information Science/ Information systems or B.Sc. degree with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics/ Electronics with minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) from UGC recognized university.
  • In order to be eligible for M.Sc. Software Technology, Karnataka /Non-Karnataka candidates have to appear for Software Technology Aptitude Test (STAT) conducted by St Aloysius College (Autonomous).

Eligibility for M.Sc.( Software Technology)

  • Candidates should have passed B.Sc. degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) from UGC recognized university.
  • Candidates also have to appear in an entrance exam which is Bioinformatics Proficiency Test (BPT) conducted by St Aloysius College (Autonomous).

Eligibility for M.Sc.( Big Data)

  • Candidates should have passed any one of the Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Computer Applications/ Computer Programming/Business Mathematics/ and Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST categories candidates) from a UGC recognized university.
  • There is an entrance test for admission in M.Sc. (Big Data)  i.e.  Big Data Analytics Competency Test (BDACT) conducted by St Aloysius College (Autonomous), and aspiring candidates have to appear in the same.

AIMIT M.Sc. Application Process 2019

The application process for all M.Sc. courses is the same. The only difference is that while applying online for the particular specialization, the candidates need to choose the correct entrance exam accordingly.

The interested applicants have to apply online from the official website of the college, once the notification for the admission is released followed by the payment of the application form. The candidates have to apply for the STAT conducted by St Aloysius College (Autonomous) in order to get admission.
