A.Y. Dadabhai Technical Institute, also known as AYD Tech, is a private self-financed institute. The institute is situated in Surat, Gujarat. A.Y. Dadabhai Technical Institute was established in 2007 to offer quality education at the diploma level in engineering. Ever since its establishment, the institute has stamped its presence through its curriculum and infrastructure. 

A.Y. Dadabhai Technical Institute is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University and received AICTE approval back in 2008. The institute further has NBA accreditation for all courses. The institute also has 20+ MoUs with various industry leaders. The NPTEL local chapters are taught under the guidance of IIT Madras and the virtual lab is affiliated with IIT Bombay.

Dadabhai Technical Institute courses are a Diploma in Civil Engineering, a Diploma in Computer Engineering, a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. A.Y. The selection process for each course at the institute is conducted as per the guidance of the Admission Committee for Professional Diploma Courses (ACPDC). However, the eligibility criteria for A.Y. The highest package offered during placement session 2022-23 was Rs 3 LPA while the average package stood at 2.10 LPA. A total of 40 companies visited the campus for placement. The placement percentage of A.Y. Dadabhai Technical Institute was recorded as 100% as all 36 students were placed during the placement session.
