To pursue a Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) degree at Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur in Howrah, candidates must meet certain eligibility criteria. Applicants should have a Master's degree in a relevant field from a recognized university. They must have obtained a minimum of 55% or an equivalent CGPA in their qualifying examination.
