• Library: Bharathiar University library has more than 1,73,823 volumes covering all disciplines. The library has subscriptions to 150 national and international journals and top 10 newspapers and many more. The library gives online catalogue services, reprographic services, and so on. It is also a member of UGC - INFLIBNET - INFONET E-Journal Consortium. 
• Hostels: Bharathiar University has four hostels; a women's hostel (for scholars and PG students), a men's hostel (essentially for research scholars), an MBA hostel and an extra hostel (especially for PG students).
