For example, IIM Ahmedabad requires an overall percentile of 90 along with sectionals of 80 in VARC, DILR, and QA. In contrast, IIM Lucknow’s cutoff stands at 82 overall percentile with 77 in each of the three sections.

These cutoffs represent overall scores, combining Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension. While some IIMs have declared official thresholds, others are estimated based on previous trends (marked tentative) to help gauge eligibility. As per released data, IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Calcutta have cutoffs of 75, 65, and 65, respectively. The lowest cutoffs are likely for IIM Sambalpur, Amritsar, Bodhgaya, and Kashipur—around 40.
