The college is affiliated to Maharishi Dayanand University Rohtak. Shri Mangalam College of Management Studies has its approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college was founded with the support of Ved Parayan Kendram (VPK, since 1983). The institute strives to develop competent and relevant manpower for the emerging needs of business, trade, and industry thereby providing high-quality education to young management aspirants. The mission of SMCMS is 'To nurture and engender creativity and innovation, by encouraging its members to follow the road less traveled.
