BIT Mesra M.E in Chemical Engineering Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission to Birla Institute of Technology Mesra's M.Tech/M.E program, candidates must hold a B.E. / B.Tech / AMIE or equivalent degree in the appropriate disciplines with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST). Both GATE qualified and Non-GATE qualified candidates can apply, with GATE qualified candidates being given priority. The selection process will involve a merit list based on 80% weightage to GATE Score and 20% weightage to Class 10th, 12th and graduation/Postgraduation marks. Overall experience was okay

Overall: Just I can say that it was okay kind of experience during my whole master course. I took admission during pandemic so I get to attend my college only for 3 semesters.Environmnent is good. I can say in Jharkhand it is one of best private college.

Placement: I did my M.tech from BIT. It was name only no companies came we didn't get placed. Please do not opt for opt for higher degree here. Don't know about batchelor s placement but for master except computer don't go.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, we have library, labs, sport complex one of my favourite place to chill p and canteen. But I don't like the lab we have very few equipments and many of them were not working. So we were not able to do many tests during our lab.

Faculty: Faculty were good , during my thesis I got the best guidance I needed. Professor are also good and help you to understand your queries and doubts clearly.

Hostel: Hostel is not good. Rooms are way too small for two students. They put two people together in a single room.Single LAN and switch board. Moreover my room was in middle of hostel 8 there mobile network was very poor inside the room we used to come out of our room to talk.
