Brainware University Placements with Highest and Average Package 2023

Brainware University placement 2023 report states that 500 students have been placed in over 237 companies. Students received opportunities from companies like Mindtree, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Axis Bank, Amazon, Edifixio, TCS, and Wipro. Brainware University highest package offered was Rs 36 LPA. However, the highest package secured was Rs 24 LPA by a BTech CSE student, Twinkle Paul from Cargill Business Services India Pvt Ltd. Apart from BTech, students from BSc Cyber Security, BSc Computer Science, MCA, BCA, MBA and other courses received decent packages. Brainware University average package stood at Rs 3.5 LPA in 2023. Some students like Arnab Manna (B.Sc CS) received a package of Rs 8.4 LPA and Suman Acharyya (MCA) accepted a package of Rs 7.5 LPA. 

Moreover, the NIRF 2023 report revealed that the median package ranged between Rs 2.16 LPA to Rs 3.66 LPA during Brainware University placements in 2022. At the UG level, Rs 2.16 LPA was offered for three-year programmes like BCA and BBA and Rs 3 LPA for four-year courses like BTech. At the PG level, Rs 2.16 LPA was the median package for two-year programmes like MBA and MCA and Rs 3.66 LPA for three-year courses at Brainware University. 

• Brainware University average package rose by 16.6% from Rs 3 LPA in 2022 to Rs 3.5 LPA in 2023. 
• 239 more students were placed during Brainware University placements 2023 compared to 2022. 
• Brainware University highest package remained unchanged in 2023 as compared to 2022. 
• 263 less companies visited the campus during Brainware University placements in 2023 compared to 2022. 

Brainware University placement statistics show that 500 students were placed in 2023. More than 200 companies visited for placements and around 490 drives were held. The university successfully maintained its placement percentage at 98%. 

In 2022, the number of students placed was 261 and more than 500 companies visited the campus. According to the NIRF 2023 report, 107 out of 414 students from the UG (3-year) courses got placed. In UG (4-year) courses such as BTech, 102 out of 202 students were placed during 2022 placements. At the PG level, 49 out of 160 students from the two-year programmes and 3 out of 22 from the three-year programmes were placed.

Brainware University highest package offered was Rs 24 LPA in the 2023 placement drive. Students from BTech CSE, BSc Cyber Security, BSc CS, MCA and BCA bagged lucrative packages. Twinkle Paul from BTech CSE bagged Rs 24 LPA at got placed at Cargill Business Services India Pvt ltd. Moreover, Manish Bhagat, a BSc Cyber Security student secured a package of Rs 9 LPA from Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).

In 2022, the highest package offered stood at Rs 36 LPA. Moreover, a high difference was found upon comparing Brainware University highest package 2023 with 2021. The highest package offered to students in 2021 was Rs 12 LPA. 

Brainware University average package stood at Rs 3.5 lakh per annum in 2023. Students across the disciplines including management, engineering, science, etc were placed in leading companies. Md Zakiullah, an MBA student at Brainware University was placed at NJ India Invest Pvt. Ltd with a package of Rs 5.78 LPA. Kavya, Surojit, Soumyadeep and Debjit of BTech CSE were placed at Rinex Technologies Pvt. Ltd. with a package of Rs 5.20 LPA. Moreover, Subhajit Choudhary and Chandrima Naskar from MCA bagged Rs 3.72 LPA from Amazon. 

While the average package for the year 2022 isn’t officially available, students can refer to median packages as per the NIRF 2023 report. The median package offered for the UG (3-year) programme was Rs 2.16 LPA whereas 3 LPA was offered for the UG (4-year) programme. At the PG level, Rs 2.16 LPA was the median package for two-year courses and Rs 3.66 LPA for three-year courses.
