Amity University Gwalior Campus & Infrastructure

Amity University Madhya Pradesh located on 110 acres of land opposite Gwalior Airport, will impart modern, practical and research-based courses which will lead to the development of manpower which is employable and ready for industry. 

Classrooms

Spacious lecturer theaters/classrooms are available in the campus for the students. All these are centrally air-conditioned to provide an adequate comfort level for the students to pursue their studies in the desired environment. In addition, the campus has one Seminar Hall for 200 Students and state of the art auditorium having a capacity of 600, also centrally air-conditioned.

Auditoriums

Amity has state-of-the-art Auditorium that acts as a common ground for students, faculty and corporate personalities for regular interfaces, conferences and other events. Amity University Gwalior has a state-of-the-art 610 seater auditorium, which acts as a common ground for students, faculty and corporate personalities for regular interfaces, conferences and cultural events.

Laboratories

Amity School of Engineering and Technology has well-equipped laboratories to enable the students to conduct experiments for better understanding and application of theory.

Library

Besides a huge Central Library, the University also has five Departmental Libraries for Engineering, Management, Law, Architecture and Psychology The libraries have a rich stock of books, digital database, on line journals (E – Resource), National / International journals with hard and soft copies, Magazines and National / Regional newspapers in Hindi and English are available for Students / Research Scholars. In addition all libraries have adequate number of computer terminals to access the Internet. We have over 20,000 online journals. Amity has the membership of MANUPATRA, DELNET, Sodh Ganga, National Digital Library (NDL), All India Reporter, Supreme Court Cases online. All Amity students are members of Amizone-Amity Intranet Zone which allows them easy access to these journals & papers. Amity students also have the rights to access of Ebsco Host ,Taylor & Francis, IEEE, ACM Digital library etc.

Sports Facilities

The University has a 20-acre sports complex which offers ample opportunities to students for regular work –out, lifestyle management and interaction by providing a host of excellent sports facilities. It has facilities for games like cricket, football, basketball, lawn tennis, volleyball as well as indoor games like chess, carom, table –tennis, snooker etc. From increasing concentration level and working as a team to inculcating a winning spirit, sports help students to build a strong character and all-round development.

Accommodation

The University has three large hostels, two for boys and one for girls, within the premises. The accommodation is 'Apartment Style' with suites of bedrooms that share a common lounge and bathroom. Each bedroom provides for double occupancy & so each 'apartment' has six occupants. The total capacity of hostels is 240 each. The well-appointed rooms are well lit & well ventilated, with geysers in bathrooms & television in the common rooms. Each student is provided with a separate bed, mattress, pillow, pillow covers and sheets, almirah and study table with chair. All the hostels are Wi-Fi enabled and the student can access the net 24/7 from their rooms. The students are also provided free laundry services. To make the environment safe, healthy and more conducive to study, the University ensure 24 hours water & power supply, tight security with surveillance cameras and 24/7 security guards. 24 hours Medical Room is also available for any medical assistance.

Cafeteria & Food Courts

The students have the option of eating at any of the six food outlets in the University – the Student's Mess, the Canteens in Block A, B & C each and two Cafeterias in the campus. All food outlets offer an interesting array of food & snacks to suit all tastes and likings.The subsidized rates & hygienic preparation make all food outlets a very attractive and viable option for the students and staff alike.

Gymnasium

Amity University has a well-equipped gymnasium for boys and girls in the campus.

ATM

In order to facilitate the students, the staff of Amity University ATM Facility is available at a prime location in the university campus.

Transport Facility

Amity University Madhya Pradesh has 12 buses (two owned and ten hired) for providing Transport Facility to the students. In addition, the following vehicles have also been acquired by the University

Faculty/ Staff Incentives

In Amity University Madhya Pradesh, performance-based annual increments are given to all the staff and faculty members. Percentage of increment to the faculties are linked to their Annual Performance Indicator (API plus) and their overall performance and in respect of other employees, it is performance based on written recommendations of their HoIs/HoDs
