J B College Hostel & Fees Structure

The college has limited hostel facilities both for boys and girls, the number of seats currently available are only 62 and 66 respectively. Application form for hostel admission may be collected from the office of the college and submitted to the concerning office assistant after getting admission in the college. The superintendent in consultation with the college authority will finalize the list of candidates on the basis of merit. No seat in the hostel can be reserved prior to admission in to the college. Hostels remain closed for summer vacation. Those admitted to the hostels will have to abide by the J. B. College Hostel Rules.

Students Activities & Clubs

NCC Club -

The college has an NCC wing providing students a great number of opportunities. Cadets obtained ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificates may offer candidature for the posts of executives in different national and multi-national companies like Reliance, Sahara, Jet Air ways, etc. The Sahara Group of Companies also offer scholarships for meritorious NCC cadets who secure 65 % marks in 10th standard and 65% marks in 12th standard for Science, 60% for Commerce and 55% for Arts students.

Dear Student,

The cutoff details of JB Johart College are not available at the moment. However, the subject-wise qualifying marks required in Class 12th to get admission in B.Sc Botany are as follows -

Name of the Subject Marks Required in Class 12th
Biology 60%
Chemistry 55%
English 45%

The college will prepare a merit list on the basis of marks obtained in the above three subjects. The total marks scored in each subject will be aggregated and an average score will be derived to prepare the merit list. Therefore, cutoff marks are not the same every year.
