At K.L.N. College of Engineering (KKLNCE) the students are endowed with all convenient amenities that make their life 'go easy' in college hours, alongside make learning more interesting. Some of the facilities include well ventilated classrooms, recreational areas, hostel facility for boys and girls, indoor and outdoor games, stocked library, seamless internet/wifi connectivity, medical facilities etc.
College is situated on the South Eastern outskirts of Madurai, 11th Km on Madurai – Nedungulam Road. It is built in an area of 53.8 acres. The Campus has multistoreyed buildings consisting of well provided class rooms, drawing halls, seminar halls, conference hall, library, Air-Conditioned Computer centres, staff rooms and student rest rooms. The infrastructure also consists of five double storeyed laboratory buildings and three single storeyed workshops and Machine shop, and an automobile workshop.
The Administrative block (2 storeyed) of 1,185 sq. metre with office in the ground floor, I.T. laboratory in the first floor & class rooms in the second floor has been constructed on the eastern side.
A two storeyed block of 1,185 sq. metre consisting class room has been constructed on the southern side of the administrative block.
A two storeyed block of 1,185 sq. metre with EIE laboratory in the ground floor, DSP laboratory in the first floor & class rooms in the second floor has been constructed on the western side of the administrative block.
A two storeyed block of 2,122 sq. metre with spacious library, video library & Electronic resource section in the ground floor, class rooms in the first floor & CSE laboratory in the second floor has been constructed near the administrative block.
A single storeyed block of 1,193 sq. metre with S.M. laboratory in the ground floor CAD, CAM laboratories in the first floor & class rooms in the second floor has been constructed on the north western side of the administrative block.

Students Activities & Clubs
Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club. ROTARACT is ‘ROTARy-in-ACTion’. It has evolved quickly in its short but dynamic history. In the early 1960s Rotary club around the world began to sponsor university youth groups as community service projects. The 1967 – 68 RI president, Luther H. Hodges, and the RI Board of Directors considered this club activity to have international relevance, and Rotaract was approved in 1968 as an official program for Rotary clubs. Several decades later, the Rotaract program has grown into a strong, international network of 7,300 clubs in more than 150 countries and geographical areas and our Rotaract club of KLNCE is one among them.K.L.N.Melody Fine-Arts Club
This is one of the clubs by which staff and students can develop their singing habit and playing of music instruments. Students have taken part in various musical competitions and won prizes more. The club has conducted Key-Board Musicclasses to our staff and students and they have got benefit. The first class was started on 01.08.2007. On behalf of Teacher’s day celebration, this club organized Staff Light Music Program for our staff members jointly with Faculty Development Forum (FDP). MS TECHNO CLUB, student tech club of Microsoft is a platform for the students of KLNCE to stay in harmony with the technology. The club in association with Microsoft aims at enhancing the technical knowledge of the students.
MS TECHNO CLUB is approved by global technical partners like INETA and PASS.
The mission of the MS TECHNO CLUB is to promote student leadership training, address technology competencies, provide outreach to the community through parent involvement, corporate support, and student community service, and to encourage collaboration among students.
The club is managed under the excellent guidance of the Staff Advisor Prof.R.Alageswaran Associate Professor of CSE Department and full support of Department of Computer Science and Engineering. B.V.S.Pavithra, Microsoft Student Partner and President of MS TECHNO CLUB initiated the club during the academic year 2009-2010. The SAEINDIA KLNCE Collegiate Club was inaugurated in our college on August 21, 2008. The Chief Guest for the Inauguration program was Mr. Kumaradevan – GM, TAFE. The SAE Collegiate Club in the college started with 90 student members and the student strength of the club is continuously increasing year by year.
It was started with the objective of bringing together those brains which are diligently working on a myriad of inventive technologies, and to provide them with a forum for free exchange of ideas and expose them to the latest innovations in terms of mobility engineering
