There is a Youth Red Cross Unit in our college through which, blood donation, first-aid and fire fighting training are conducted.

There are two units of NSS which have 100 volunteers. Our NSS units have been rendering social service since 1987 such as construction works, medical camps, technical activities, awareness programmes, cleaning works, planting of trees, de-silting programmes, road repair works, medical camps. To mark social service achievement, Our institution has been selected as the best NCC unit and NSS officers are awarded by Directorate of Technical Education, Tamilnadu Government.

There is NCC at the college. It aims at developing the qualities of leadership discipline, duty consciousness and national service in the minds of students. Total strength of NCC is 70. NCC officer trains students.
