At the University of Tasmania, the design (and redesign) of units is defined by their model of blended learning (Brown, Kregor, & Williams, 2013) and the framework of constructive alignment (Biggs & Tang, 2011). It is typically the unit coordinator who takes carriage of this design, in consultation with the course coordinator, and with final approval from the relevant Faculty's Learning and Teaching Committee.
