"Not Worth It at All"

Overall I completed my B.Tech in Civil Engineering from this college, and unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing. The quality of education was far below expectations — outdated syllabus, lack of practical exposure, and poorly equipped labs made learning very difficult. Most of the faculty lacked proper teaching skills and showed little interest in students' growth. There was hardly any proper guidance for competitive exams or placements, especially in the core field. The infrastructure was average at best, and basic facilities were often neglected. There was no real support system for students facing academic or personal challenges. I would not recommend this college to anyone who is serious about building a strong career in engineering.l

Placement Placement support was a complete failure, especially for core branches like Civil Engineering. Hardly any good companies visited the campus, and those that did offered very low packages. There was no proper training for interviews, resumes, or aptitude. Students were left to struggle on their own, with no real effort from the placement cell to bring meaningful opportunities.

Infrastructure The infrastructure was highly disappointing. Most classrooms lacked basic cleanliness, ventilation, and proper seating. Laboratories were outdated with insufficient or non-functional equipment, making practical learning almost impossible. The library had very limited useful resources, and internet facilities were either unavailable or extremely unreliable. Overall, the infrastructure did not support a proper technical education environment.

Faculty The majority of faculty members were underqualified or lacked the motivation to teach. Many simply read out slides without explaining concepts, and there was no real focus on helping students understand the subject deeply. Doubt-solving was often ignored, and there was no proper mentorship or career guidance. Some teachers even lacked basic communication skills. It felt more like a formality than real education.

Hostel The hostel facilities were far from livable. Rooms were small, unhygienic, and poorly ventilated. Clean drinking water was often not available, and washrooms were rarely cleaned properly. Food quality in the mess was below average and repetitive, with no regard for nutrition or hygiene. Management hardly paid attention to complaints, and safety inside the hostel was also a concern.
