Overall: CMRIT: I would rate the college as good. It has a good balance of academic & non-academic infrastructure. The college is strict about attendance, discpline, and certain do's and dont's. They are definetly not extreme in them. Staff like every engineering college is average. No college in Bangalore can claim to have excellent staff. You have to largely depend on yourself to study in Engineering. But having said that, they have adequate lectures to guide you in all subjects. The Computer Science department is the best here. All other department's are more or less the same. Good, clean infrastructure and class rooms. Each department has about 25000 Sq feet of space in a 'L' shape with Labs & Class rooms in that space. There is a decent library and lots of small sitting places all around the college for students.

Faculty: The college will conduct 2 midterms and 1 semester exam, which means every year a student has to give 4 midterms and 2 semester exams. The curriculum is easy when compared to other colleges. When it comes to pass percentage, the average pass percentage is 75%.
