Dear Student,

Unfortunately, a score of 39 and 1670 rank is low in the TS PGECET 2024 exam. The opening and closing ranks for the JNTU admission are expected to vary from 89-112 for General, 67-99 for SC, and 56-91 for ST categories. However, the TG PGECET counselling 2024 process is ongoing and a few more colleges have been added to the list recently. So, we suggest you go through the list of participating colleges to shortlist your preferred options. The counseling process will be completed in multiple rounds. Also, for better understanding, you can check here what is a good score in TS PGECET 2024 that can get you a desired rank and admission to your dream college!

Good Luck!

Dear Student,

630 rank in TS PGECET Civil Engineering is a good rank for the BC-B Category. You have a good chance of getting a seat in some of the popular M.Tech colleges, including Azad College of Engineering and Sreenidhi Institute of Science & Technology. However, if you want to pursue M.Tech in Structural Engineering, you should know that there are not many options available within this rank range. Moreover, very few colleges offer this specialization. We suggest you explore a few other core engineering courses, like M.Tech in Software Engineering, CSE, Mechanical Engineering or Biotechnology as these are equally promising.

Remember, the colleges that you get will be based on the choices you opt for during the TS PGECET web options and seat allotment procedures. Moreover, the choices of the college are also based majorly on factors such as its fee structure, cutoff ranks etc. We advise you to review the Top M.Tech Colleges in Telangana accepting TS PGECET scores to make an informed decision.

Dear student,

Mining Engineering is fast becoming a very popular stream. Mining Engineering course deals with the practices, theories, technology, science, and application of extraction and processing of mineral resources. A Mining Engineer may work in government set-ups, and/or in mineral mining industries, ore extraction companies, drilling agencies, etc. On average, about 50-60% mining engineering graduates get placed through campus placement. If you want to know the placement of Malla Reddy Institute of Engineering and Technology, Secunderabad, we are sorry to say that no such detail has been released by the institute as yet. Stay tuned for updates.

However, placements after pursuing Mining Engineering course depends on a number of factors:

Institute: If your institute has a strong industry connection and is able to get top names like Hindustan Zinc Ltd., National Mineral Development Corporation India, National Aluminium Company Ltd, Hindalco etc as recruiters, then you are sorted. However, since Mining is a niche specialisation (as compared to an ECE or EEE etc.), the scope of the job,  will also be limited in comparison.

Work Out of Remote Areas: You will be working out of remote areas where the minefields or factories are. You should be willing to relocate.
