A total of eight Government Funded Technical Institutes engage in CCMT counselling to select qualified students for M.Tech admission through the GATE exam. GFTIs provide a variety of M.Tech specializations, with a distinct cutoff for each. Following each round of seat allocation, CCMT publishes the opening and closing ranks for each GFTI and MTech specialization. The GATE cutoff 2023 depends on various factors like candidate’s category, number of seats available, number of candidates participating, previous year's cutoff, etc. Every year, the GATE cutoff for admission to GFTI varies.
