Punjab College of Law was established in 2016. The College's administration, Sikh Educational Forum Tarn-Taran (SEFTT), accepted the task of bringing legal education to the doorsteps of the ordinary man, so that the latter might feel on par with the legal fraternity of the cities. Following receiving permission from the Punjab government to build a law school, it sought affiliation with GNDU as well as recognition from the BCI in New Delhi.

The Punjab College of Law (PCL) was founded with the intention of producing judges, PCS, IAS, and IPS personnel in addition to the highest calibre attorneys. Via Punjab College of Law, Tarn Taran Sikh Educational Forum hopes to refocus the youth towards leading contented, prosperous, and fruitful lives.
