A pass in the 12th standard examination of the Kerala State or examinations considered equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects with a separate minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and overall 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.

OR

Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education or Equivalent and must have a minimum of 60% marks. Relaxation of 5% marks will be allowed to SEBC candidates whose annual family income does not exceed 4.5Lakhs. For candidates belonging to SC/ST community, a pass in the qualifying examination will be sufficient.

Note:

  • Candidates belonging to socially and educationally backward classes as per G.O (P) 20^B6/Edn.dt.2- 5-66 and amendments thereof with a total annual family income up to 4.5Lakhs will have a relaxation of 5% marks.
  • Scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination.
