To secure admission in the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)  programme at DIT University, you must have passed with at least 60% marks in class 10 and aggregate 60% marks in class 12 in four main subjects namely English, Physics, Math with one of the best remaining subjects. A JEE Main score is necessary for admission to the university. Direct admission is granted to students who secured top positions in the board exams or those who have qualified with more than 95% marks in the 10+2 level. DIT University promotes academic talent and quality in its students. It grants merit-based scholarships to deserving students in an effort to encourage students towards academic success. At the time of enrollment, merit scholarships can be applied towards programme tuition fees based on the 12 standard percentages. Other than this, JEE Rank is also considered for merit scholarships for B.Tech programmes at DIT University based on PME & Chem/ Bio/ Comp/ Informatic Prac/ Engg scores. More than 90% or 1st rank holders are granted a 50% scholarship. 75% to 90% are granted 40% scholarship.

The fees for all categories at DIT University are the same. However, upon the fulfilment of certain eligibility criteria, various scholarships can be availed by students on account of sports, merit, as well as defence personnel categories. This scholarship amount is further applied to the DIT University fees as per the respective categories.

The Minimum eligibility for the BCA course is 50% marks in XII Std. with Mathematics or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board/University/ Council with Mathematics as Mandatory Subject. DIT University does not allow a commerce stream without maths for BCA. If you are willing to take admission in courses without maths, you can also check Bachelor of Design (Interior) and Bachelor of Architecture, in these subjects you can get admission without maths.
