Department of Management Studies, National Institute of Technology Admission for the upcoming session in 2026 is held through a standard procedure that starts with a national-level entrance exam. Applicants who want to secure a seat at the college have to secure a valid score in the Common Admission Test (CAT) which is held in the month of November in the preceding year. Once the results for the CAT exam are out, the aspirants must register directly at the management department of the institute through its mesmeric online portal. This process usually commences in September and ends in February. Based on the CAT score and academic records, the college shortlists deserving candidates for its own selection rounds which consist of a Group Discussion and a Personal Interview, conducted usually during March. The final merit list is then prepared and the formalities for admission are done by June.
