Gazole Mahavidyalaya (GM) is affiliated with the University of Gour Banga (GBU) and has an illustrious belief that contributes to its own culture. It was established in the year 2006 to impart knowledge based on higher education to the people of SC, ST-prone areas. Gazole Mahavidyalaya is serving the cause of education upliftment not only for the students coming from different parts of Malda but also for a large number of students from the northern part of the state. 

Gazole Mahavidyalaya is a private institution that offers two courses encompassing two streams, namely, Arts and Education. The popular degree offered at the college is BA. Besides a robust teaching pedagogy, the institute is a leader in research and innovation. Focus is also given to activities beyond academics at GM West Bengal which is quite evident from its infrastructure, national and international collaborations, and extracurricular activities. Gazole Mahavidyalaya is located very close to NH 34 towards the west. The campus is well-connected by both road and railways. Gazole Mahavidyalaya offers two courses, namely, BA General and BA Honors. Courses are available only in the stream of arts and education. Admission to GM Malda undergraduate programs is based on merit in the qualifying examination. Regular UG courses last three years.

Gazole Mahavidyalaya's admission process is entirely based on the merit of the students. Students can apply for admission to BA Hons. and General courses based on the marks obtained in the 10+2 or equivalent qualifying examinations. However, there are prescribed eligibility criteria for the students that they need to fulfil to be considered for admission. Therefore, students are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before applying to the institution.

For UG courses, Gazole Mahavidyalaya applicants have passed the higher secondary education or an examination recognized as equivalent by the University of Gour Banga provided he/she passed in at least five subjects with English as a compulsory subject in the 10+2 level examination. The minimum eligibility criteria furnished by the University of Gour Banga for admission to first-year regular honours courses are 45% marks in the aggregate, 40% and 50% marks in the subject opted for honours in the qualifying examination. 

For the BA General course, admission is offered on a first come first serve basis.

The Gazole Mahavidyalaya online application process commences every year following the publication of WBHS, CBSE, and ICSE results. . Candidates interested in applying for admission should go to the institute’s official website to fill out the application form and pay the application fee. The application fee is INR 105.

The candidate should thoroughly read the admission guidelines before proceeding. Fill out the required information carefully before submitting the application form. Gazole Mahavidyalaya has the authority to reject the application form is found incomplete. Pay the application fees to complete the process. 

Admission to all UG programs is based on academic performance in the qualifying exam. There is no entrance exam for this program at the institute. Lateral admissions to the BA program are also available at Gazole Mahavidyalaya.

• Students can apply for UG courses requiring only class 12 by filling out an application form.
• Following that, the college will produce a merit list based on the grades received. The candidates will be chosen based on their overall characteristics.

Gazole Mahavidyalaya Entrance exam 

The Gazole Mahavidyalaya admissions are based on class 12 merit. No entrance exams are required.
