What students says about Government Engineering College (GEC), Raichur

The course curriculum is student-oriented and good for us.
Placements and job opportunities are good for us.
The curriculum is good and up to date.
Placement opportunities are good every year.
Many companies hire students from the university every year and salary package can go as high as 20 lakhs per annum.

I get a little confused regarding the course and find it hard but gradually I started enjoying our course curriculum and find it interesting.
Our college also provides Internships for us with a reasonable stipend.
Job opportunities and placements are good if you attend the campus interview sincerely.
Placement opportunities are good every year but one need to put in their own effort in order to get a good internship.
Class test and assignments depends on the subject teacher.

Overall: The government engineering college is good. it is not like private college. fees us affordable for the students. basic facilities are also there for the students

Placement: Placement of the college is good, college organize placement drive in the 3rd year. few top companies and local companies take interview and selected students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average and please do not compare it with private college. The college has basic facilities like library, laboratories, canteen etc.

Faculty: Faculty is very good they all have friendly nature and took classed regularly. Also they help students in practical and assignments. All teachers has good experience.

Hostel: There is no hostel for the students. they should build hostel in the campus or provides outside the campus any accommodation for the students. this should be implemented.
