HKBK DEGREE COLLEGE Came in to existence in the year 1998-1999 under the guidance of Karnataka State Muslim Federation® headed by Mr. C.M. Ibrahim former Union Minister, Govt. of India. It has earned many accolades in this short span of excellence it is acclaims as one of India’s best-equipped Institutions and every year its graduates walk out with a passport of success. KSMF is a prominent state-level organization, which addresses the concerns and issues of the minorities in the state. With an active presence in all districts of Karnataka, KSMF recognized the need to provide opportunities for proper education to the deserving students. Thus HKBK Degree College was born. The HKBK Degree College is named after the 12th Century Chishti Saint, Hazrat Khwaja Khuthubuddin Bakhtiar Kaki. Chishtiya, which is an order of Sufism, celebrates the principles of tolerance and services to humanity among others, irrespective of sex, religion, caste, race, etc. Reflecting these principles, the HKBK Degree College aims to educate young minds and deserving students in the hope of a better tomorrow for themselves and humanity at large. The Karnataka State Muslim Federation (KMSF) having its office at No. 6/1, Cantonment Railway Station Road, Bangalore – 560051 which is registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960 on 29th July 1994 is a state level organization having branches in every district of the Karnataka State. KSMF is socio-religious and educational organization. It places very high value on academics. For the Trust, providing education is not a commercial activity. The Trust is committed to provide educational facilities for students belonging to backward and minority in particular and others in general. The Trust is diligent to this cause and utilizes its earnings to provide free education to those who cannot afford such quality education elsewhere. It is therefore the objective to build up a group of young men and women who would be agents of change in society and work towards a world of Fraternity, Equality and Justice.

The lecture halls are equipped with black boards, white boards, LCDs, and OHPs. the Institution has well furnished and spacious seminar hall for organizing personality development programmes such as guest lectures, seminars, conferences, management fest, mock interviews, placement training etc. the Institution’s infrastructure also includes well furnished Hi-tech Computer labs with Air Condition, 74 LCD computers with unlimited Internet connection, digital electronic kits and a printers etc. the library has more than 5000 books by both Foreign and Indian authors and it is well equipped with newspapers, computers with unlimited internet connection, latest magazines, national & international journals. A well established and inspiring IT Club aptly called “IT Gate” for BCA students. It is center of innovative activities where students can excel their talent and inspire others.
