IIM Bangalore Interview Shortlist 2026: The admissions to the IIM Bangalore for the upcoming MBA 2026-28 session will be based on the CAT 2025 result. Expect the interview shortlist around mid-January 2026, so check the official IIM Bangalore website regularly for updates.​ If you qualify, you will tackle the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) in February or March 2026, held together on the same day. Your pre-PI score weighs CAT 2025 at 55%, academics (10th/12th/bachelor's) at 30%, work experience at 10%, and gender diversity at 5%, with minimum sectional cutoffs like 80 for VARC in the general category.​ Post-PI, final selection factors in PI (40%), WAT (10%), adjusted CAT (25%), and scaled work experience (10%). The CAT Cutoff 2025 for private MBA colleges usually ranges from 90 to 100 percentile. Students must clear the CAT examination and score marks in accordance with the CAT cutoff.
