HPU PhD : Fees, Courses, Eligibility & Admission 2025

HPU PhD is a 3 Years program offered in multiple specializations. The eligibility criteria for pursuing a Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) degree at Himachal Pradesh University require candidates to have a Master's degree in the relevant field from a recognized university. The minimum aggregate marks required are 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC/non-creamy layer/differently-abled candidates). Additionally, candidates must have qualified in the entrance examination conducted by the university or any other recognized agency. Those who have qualified in UGC/CSIR (JRF) examinations/NET/SLET/GATE/teacher fellowship or have passed M.Phil. are exempted from the entrance examination.
