IIIT Sonepat admission 2024 is offered for three B.Tech specialities offered at the institute. For BTech admission, applicants need to qualify for JEE Main. JEE Main result 2024 session 2 has been released on April 24, 2024 and now JoSAA registration will start on June 10, 2024. Candidates who will qualify JEE Main can further take part in the admission process.

IIIT Sonepat B.Tech Course Details

Computer science and engineering, information technology, and electronics and communication engineering are the three Specializations that the institute provides for its B.Tech. programme. There are 30 students accepted for each speciality.

IIIT Sonepat B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must have earned a 10+2 diploma from an accredited board or institution in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
• They must also have passed the Joint Entrance Test (JEE Mains).
   

IIIT Sonepat B.Tech Selection Criteria

• The JEE Main test is required for candidates.
• The applicant may submit an application for counselling through JoSAA after passing JEE Main 2023.
• The decision will be made by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) based on the admission exam rank.
• The registration and choice-filling date will be launched by the JoSAA authorities.
• The Indian Institute of Information Technology category on the JoSAA website will present a list of participating institutes from which candidates can select IIIT Sonepat throughout the counselling process.
• For each round, the JoSAA seat allocation results will be made available online.
• Those who are chosen can reserve their seats at IIIT Sonepat by submitting registration fees.
• The reporting centre employees of JoSAA will provide a letter of seat acceptance.

How to Apply for IIIT Sonepat Admission 2023?

• Counselling will be used to complete the application procedure for the college's B.Tech programme. In order to apply for it, applicants must complete the procedures listed below in the following order : 
• Check out the JoSAA website.
• The registration link should be clicked.
• The JEE Main roll number and password must be used by candidates to register.
• Those who have successfully passed the JEE Main exam may log in using their unique password.
• The screen will reveal fundamental information about the candidate, including country, state eligibility code, gender, and more. The specifics must be reviewed and confirmed again by the candidates.
• During counselling, candidates must choose IIIT Sonepat.
• Based on the JEE Main cutoff, the applicant will be chosen.
• Candidates who have been chosen will have their seats assigned to them, and they must download their provisional allocation letter.
• The last step is for applicants to submit a deposit to secure their spot.

• Seat acceptance letter issued by JoSAA.
• Original and photocopies of Mark sheet of SSC and HSC.
• Receipt of fee.
• JEE Main Scorecard.
• Admit card of JEE Main.
• High School Certificate as proof of age.

• Valid SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/EWS certificate in the format given on the JoSAA website.
• Transfer Certificate.
• 4 copies of coloured passport-sized photographs.
