IIM with lowest fees for MBA

Which IIM has the lowest fees for MBA?

The most popular and sought-after management colleges in the country are the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), which provide international standards of education and placement. Nevertheless, the fee structure itself is an important factor to potential students, and there exists a large difference between the old IIMs and the recent ones. The newer, or baby IIMs, including IIM Sambalpur, IIM Sirmaur, and IIM Visakhapatnam, charge lesser fees, at around INR 15 lakh. The other newer IIMs are IIM Shillong, IIM Raipur, IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Ranchi, and IIM Kashipur, charging between INR 16 lakh and INR 18 lakh. Government funding of these institutes has given them a competitive advantage and provides them with comparatively cheap learning with a steady rise in their learning and placement rates.

CAT Normalization Process 2025: How Scaled Score is Calculated, Revised Process for 3 Shifts

CAT Normalization Process 2025: CAT 2025 exam will be conducted in different slots, and the overall difficulty level of the exam may vary. Therefore, to ensure fairness while calculating the final CAT 2025 scores, the exam authority provides the CAT normalization process 2025. This process is used to ensure that all the test-takers are evaluated based on the same standards and no one is given undue advantage or is at a disadvantage in the exam. Also known as the scaling and equating process, the CAT normalization process adjusts for location and scale differences of score distributions across different forms. As per the official notice, during the evaluation, the scores will be adjusted to account for location and scale differences across various forms. Once normalized across these different forms, the scores will undergo further normalization to ensure consistency across the different sections.

Due to high competition for Microelectronics at BITS, a GATE score of 534 might be challenging. LPU's M.Tech in VLSI/Microelectronics presents a great alternative. The program features state-of-the-art labs, expert faculty, and an industry-aligned curriculum. With a focus on practical skills and real-world projects, it prepares students for promising careers.

LPU is an excellent option, as it accepts GATE scores for admission to its M.Tech. programs. You should contact the LPU admission office directly for specific eligibility and scholarship details about their Data science and Artificial intelligence programs.

With a GATE Score of 365, it may be tough to get core branches like electrical in top IITs or NITs as their cut offs are usually higher. but don't worry, LPU also offers electrical engineering programs with good labs, industry tie-ups and placement support so its a great choice.

Dear student,

With your score of 10720 in NIMCET, it seems difficult for you to get admission in any of the NITs. The top NITs like Trichy, Surathkal, Warangal, Allahabad usually close admissions for the General category within the top 50-300 ranks. Even for reserved categories, the ranks typically do not extend into five digits.

For other participating NITs like Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Patna, Raipur, Agartala generally remain within the top 1000-2000 for the General/OBC-NCL categories. For SC/ST categories, some may go up to 4000-8000, but 10720 is still a very difficult rank to get into any of the participating NITs.

Unfortunately, with an All India Rank of 10720, your chances of getting admission into any of the NIMCET participating NITs (National Institutes of Technology) is highly unlikely for the MCA programme. Based on previous years' cut-off trends, it will be difficulut for you to get a seat even if you belong to the reserved categories basis last year's trend. The competition is extremely high for these limited seats (around 800-1000 seats across all NITs).

You can try for other universities like AKTU, GGSIPU, HBTU, UoH and state government aided universities. You might need to appear for state exams like MAH MCA CET for Maharashtra, OJEE for Odisha, PGCET for Karnataka, etc. for admission to state universities.

With an an OBC rank of 803 in the NIMCET 2025 exam, you have a good chance of getting admission into several NITs such as NIT Raipur, NIT Krukshetra and NIT Jamshedpur.
