August 28, 2025GATE 2026 registration is now open at gate2026.iitg.ac.in for admission to M.Tech and research programs. Candidates can submit their applications without a late fee until September 28, 2025, while the deadline with a late fee is October 9, 2025. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, in two sessions.
August 25, 2025The GATE 2026 registration has been postponed to August 28, 2025. Regular applications close on September 28, with late submissions accepted until October 9. Exams will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, and results on March 19.

Indian Maritime University, also known as IMU, is a Central University established in 2008. Located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, the IMU campus spans over 20 acres. The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
