IMU CET 2025 Exam

IMU CET 2025 exam has been held on May 24, 2025. The Indian Maritime University CET is a national-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs across IMU’s five campuses: Cochin, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, and Visakhapatnam. The exam is conducted exclusively online. The B.Tech IMU CET exam features 200 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and General Aptitude, based on the 10+2 syllabus. To be eligible for IMU CET 2025, you must have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in your 10+2 exams, along with 50% in English in both Class 10 and 12. The IMU CET 2025 counselling process has been conducted. The IMU CET 2025 spot counselling 2025 for round 2 is being done on August 8, 2025.

IMU CET 2025 Counselling Process

The IMU CET counselling 2025 for the main rounds have been held. Currently, the authorities are conducting spot admission for the vacant seats. Qualified students in the IMU CET 2025 exam are eligible to participate in the IMU CET 2025 counselling process. The counselling process is being conducted in multiple rounds. Majorly, the counselling process will include registration, option entry, seat allocation, and reporting. You will also be required to pay a counselling fee of INR 10,000/-. The counselling process is being held online. IMU offers online IMU CET counselling for admission to its six campuses. Students who wish to enroll in IMU campuses must simply register in the counselling portal, which will be open following the release of the IMU CET rank list.

Students seeking admission to affiliated institutes of IMU / other DGS-approved Maritime Training Institutes (MTIs) connected with other universities should approach the College / Institutes of their choice directly after receiving the IMU CET rank certificate. Shortlisted students are invited to attend counselling after the IMU CET results are announced. 

IMU CET 2025 Result

IMU CET 2025 result has been released on the official website of Indian Maritime University in a PDF format on May 30, 2025. To get the IMU CET rank card/results, you must log in with the relevant credentials - application number and password. Additionally, after the results are announced, automated emails/SMS are delivered to all registered students. You should keep the downloaded IMU CET 2025 results safe during the counselling and admissions process. Students who qualify IMU CET exam will be invited to the IMU CET 2025 counselling process. 

Steps to Download the IMU CET 2025 Result

Follow the instructions given below to download the IMU CET result 2025. 

Step 1: Visit the official website of IMU CET 2025. 
Step 2: Click the rank card link.
Step 3: You will be required to enter your User ID and password
Step 4: After submitting the details, the ranking card will be displayed on the screen.

IMU CET 2025 Admit Card

IMU CET admit card 2025 has been released on May 14, 2025, for the registered students. You can access the IMU CET 2025 admit card using your exam credentials like application ID and password. You are required to keep the admit card and present it on the day of the examination. No student will be allowed inside the examination hall without their IMU CET admit card 2025. The admit card of IMU CET 2025 includes important information like the assigned exam centre, exam timing, exam centre address, your roll number, and other important instructions. You have to carry the IMU CET exam admit card along with valid ID proofs like an aadhar card, PAN card, driving licence, voter ID, etc. 

IMU CET 2025 Application Form

IMU CET 2025 registration window has been closed. Indian Maritime University started the IMU CET 2025 registration online on March 7, 2025. The university provided the official registration link on its website. The last date to submit the IMU CET 2025 application form was extended to May 6, 2025. You will be required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 1000/- in the case of General or OBC (NCL) candidature, or Rs. 700/- for SC/ST applicants. At the time of the application form filling process of IMU CET 2025 involves filling out Personal Details, Academic Details, uploading of Documents, and Payment of the fee. 

Steps to Fill Out IMU CET Application Form 2025

You can follow the below-mentioned steps to complete the IMU CET registration process:

Step 1: Fill out the online application with Basic details.

Step 2: Fill out the online application with Personal Details.

Step 3: Fill the online application with Qualification Details.

Step 4: Upload scanned images of the photograph and signature. The image should be in JPG/JPEG format only. Upload scanned images of documents. The documents should be in PDF/JPG/JPEG format.

Step 5: Pay the application registration fee through the online payment mode.

  • There shall be no evidence of any morbid condition of either eye.
  • You must possess good binocular vision.

10+2 passed with a minimum score of 60% in PCM and 50% marks in English in the 10th or 12th exam.

IMU CET counselling fees is INR 10,000, with INR 9,000 return will be returned if no seat is assigned. To reserve a seat, you have to pay INR 30,000. The IMU CET 2025 rank list has been released. The IMU CET 2025 counselling will begin soon. You have to pay the counselling fee during registration and the seat reservation fee during seat allotment after the seat has been assigned. To improve your chances of being assigned a seat, select more than one option during seat allotment.

The minimum aggregate which is required for IMU CET is 60% in 12th along with 50% in English subject. However, there is a 5% relaxation for the reserved category candidates. Hence, if you have attained at least 55% aggregate in your 12th with 45% in English subject, then you are eligible for the exam.
