Overall: In the armed forces, we are placed with the same salary packages which are known as postings. There are no top recruiting companies. We are given the responsibility to lead our nation safe and secure.

Placement: The complete batch was placed according to their stream and 100% placement ensured from the establishment of the institution. The batch undergoes mechanical and electrical engineering and Jnu affiliation ensures the knowledge provided to cadets is like nowhere else.

Infrastructure: State of the art infrastructure with labs, classrooms, workshops, sports facilities, canteen, shopping complex. They living conditions are designed to best fit the strenuous routine being undergone by cadets. Swimming pool, watermanship and horse riding are few additional interest areas.

Faculty: Applied electronics and communication, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering are the three courses available. Other than the three cadets undergo overall development .

Hostel: hostel goes beyond the basics, offering exceptional cleanliness, comfort, and security. It stands out with unique features, excellent customer service, a vibrant social atmosphere .

The Indian Naval Academy (INA) will accept JEE Main scores for admission to its 10+2 (B.Tech.) Cadet Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission). Candidates must have passed the 12th grade exam with a minimum of 60% overall in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in order to be eligible for this programme. Additionally, a valid JEE Main score is required. The following describes the selection process for the 10+2 (B.Tech.) Cadet Entry Scheme:

    • Using the JEE Main All India Common Rank List (CRL) to shortlist candidates.
    • SSB examination.
    • Medical examination.

Candidates accepted into the INA for a four-year B.Tech degree course must pass all phases of the selection procedure. They will receive their commission as officers in the Indian Navy upon satisfactory completion of the course.

Dear student, if the deadline is over for the year 2023, you cannot apply for Indian Naval Academy. However, you can apply for the next session after the registration gets open at the academy.

    Dear Student,

JEE Main scores are used for shortlisting candidates for the Cadet Entry Scheme of Indian Naval Academy (INA), Kannur.

Under this, candidates send their applications to the academy, which sets a shortlisting criterion based on JEE Main exam ranks. The shortlisted candidates have to then undergo a 5-day assessment by the Service Selection Board, based on which candidates are recommended for admission into the academy.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any other queries.

    Thank you.
