If you have appeared in the JEE Main exam then you will need to apply for the institute level counselling. If you have only a class 12 score, then you can only get admission to the following specializations: Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design and Technology), Electronics and Communication (Advanced Communication Technology), Mathematics and Computing (M&C) and Electronics and Computer Engineering (ECM). For admission through class 12 score, you need to obtain a minimum of 60% marks, and as you have mentioned, you scored 272 out of 300, so your percentage is 90.67%. You can apply for Jaypee Institute of Information Technology admission but the students with higher marks will be selected first.
