JECRC University admissions are offered in UG, PG, doctoral, and diploma courses under 13 schools of study. JECRC University majorly takes direct admission based on merit in the qualifying exam. However, candidates with a valid score in any entrance exam is given first preference during the selection process. BTech is one of the most popular courses offered by this university. JECRC University admission process for BTech requires aspirants to be qualified 12th examination with an aggregate of 60% marks in English, Mathematics and Physics & one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, and Biotechnology from a recognized board. However, the preference for BTech admission will be given to those who will have a valid JEE Mains score.

The entrance exam required at JECRC University for MBA admission is CAT/ MAT/ XAT. The final selection will be made based on a group discussion and a personal interview round. As per the rules, for MBA admission, students should not have a gap of more than 2 years. For various courses such as BCA, BBA, BA, B.Com, and others, the university provides admissions on a merit basis. JECRC University provides different types of merit-based scholarships for all the courses. JECRC Selection criteria vary from course to course. While some courses require students to perform well in the related entrance examinations, other wants the candidates to score well in their qualifying examination

• For BTech admission, preference is given to those students who have JEE Main Scores card. The admissions are also granted based on marks obtained in the class XII examination and meeting the eligibility criteria.
• For BA & BSc, BDes, BCom, etc. one can take direct admission on the basis of their merit.
• For LLB courses, students can take admissions on the basis of the CLAT UG Entrance Examination.
   

• For MTech admission, preference is given to those students who have a GATE score card if they meet the other eligibility criteria
• For MA & MSc, MCom, MDes, etc., one can take direct admission on the basis of their merit, i.e. the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
• For LLM courses, students can apply on the basis of the CLAT PG Entrance Examination.
• For admission to MBA courses, candidates with a valid CAT/MAT/XAT scorecard can take admission and also avail scholarships.
• Postgraduate students need to qualify for exams like UGC NET/CSIR NET/GATE/JECRC University PhD entrance exam, followed by an interview for admission to the PhD course.
