JECRC University admission process starts with the online application, followed by the entrance exam (where applicable) or through the merit list, then physical counselling of the shortlisted candidates, document verification, and fee payment for the seat confirmation. Physical counselling is mandatory for all programmes, as there is no online seat allotment, and the seat is confirmed only after the fee is paid at the campus during counselling.
Step 1: Register for JEE Mains 2026 on jeemain.nta.ac.in and/or CUET-UG 2026 on cuet.nta.nic.in. Appear for the exam and download the scorecard when result available.
Step 2: Fill the JECRC University application form online at jecrcuniversity.edu.in. Pay the INR 1,000 application fee. Submit the JEE Mains 2026 percentile/scorecard and CUET-UG 2026 scorecard (if appeared) in the applcation form. After successful submission, a unique ‘Application Number’ is generated.
Step 3: JECRC University prepares the BTech merit list by giving first preference to JEE Main 2026 scores, followed by CUET-UG 2026 and then 10+2 aggregate marks. The merit list is published on the university website against the candidate’s Application Number.
Step 4: Check the physical counselling schedule at jecrcuniversity.edu.in website or the ‘Admission Notices/Alerts’ section on the homepage. Candidates will also receive counselling updates on their registered email ID.
Step 5: Report to the JECRC University campus for physical counselling on the designated date. Carry all original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies, and dress in formal attire, as a photograph may be taken on the spot.
Step 6: Proceed to the Registration Desk, then the Document Verification Committee, followed by the Admission Committee in sequence. The Admission Committee allots seats based on merit rank and availability of seats at that time. Late arrival means only the seat available at that moment is offered.
Step 7: Deposit the first instalment fee on the spot through demand draft (in favour of “JECRC University”), credit/debit card, or the university ERP portal.
