The GATE 2026 Admit Card for Computer Science & IT will be available on January 2, 2026 at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The CS exam is scheduled for February 8, 2026, and will be held in two sessions: CS1 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and CS2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

The GATE 2026 schedule for all 30 papers is now out. The exams will take place on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. CS and CE will be conducted in two shifts, while the remaining papers will have a single shift. Admit cards will be released on January 2, 2026.

The GATE 2026 mock tests for all subjects are now available on gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The examination is scheduled for February 7, 8, 14, and 15, while the admit cards will be issued on January 2, 2026.

JKKN B.Tech Admission

Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the four year B.E. degree course in Engineering shall be required to have anyone of the following eligibility:

  • A pass in Higher Secondary Course (Academic) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
  • A Pass in Higher Secondary Course (Vocational) in Engineering/Technology and one of the related subjects with Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry as related subject.
  • Any other qualification accepted as equivalent by the Anna University.(However, the candidates should have scored the requisite minimum prescribed aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.) Not withstanding the qualifying examination the candidate might have passed, the candidate should also have written the entrance examination designed to test the proficiency of the candidate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with standards prescribed for plus two academic stream of the Tamil Nadu Board of Higher Secondary Education.

          * Awarded by the State Board of Technical Education

        ** Candidates with Section 'A' & 'B' certificates and other similar certificate issued by professional bodies or societies (e.g.A.M.I.E) recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development,  Govt. of India and enrolled with institutions with permanent recognition upto 31.05.2013 are eligible to be considered equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech. degree holders, only with 2 years regular / full time Teaching / Industrial experience in the relevant field after successful completion of the course including project work. An experience certificate is to be produced by the candidates.

  • In case of B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA / Diploma courses, in addition to regular mode of study, Lateral entry and Part time modes are also considered to be eligible.
  • Candidates admitted through Lateral Entry in degree courses are not eligible expect, B.E. / B.Tech. and MCA degree courses.
  • Candidates with B.E. / B.Tech. degrees obtained through distance mode / week end courses are not eligible.
  • Candidates with degree obtained without studying 10th, 12th Std. or 3 years degree programme are not eligible.
  • The qualifying UG degree awarded by Universities should conform to the minimum standards of instruction for grant of first degree through Formal / Non-Formal / Distance (wherever applicable) education prescribed by UGC.
