Overall: Overall the college is nice, the crowd is a bit SOBO but the people there are so welcoming and my experience was pretty good, the teachers really put efforts in teaching, specially Chemistry and Micro department are so well maintained and the teachers are amazing. There are events almost everyday in the college of different departments but they never cause any disturbance for others. The only thing is many things overlap because of poor time management, but teachers are supportive.

Placement: The college have alumini who are placed at some of the top company and they also do provide internships after checking at the progress of the students . there is something called science honors program which KC provides for undergrad students in which they can do research work and publish paper in their SY

Infrastructure: The thing is that the college is always have on going constructions and the infrastructure is also not great, they have a very small campus, so in the times like farewell or something it is really a harass to even enjoy in such a crowd, the property is so compact and they don't even have a proper sitting arrangement for students in the campus and also the canteen is soo small and overpriced ofcourse. But the auditorium is quite good with balcony and all. The only concern is that we can't chill in college after bunking lectures because there is literally no place to sit and chill, even library is going on with the construction now, but It will get open in some time

Faculty: Faculty of chemistry department and microbiology department is really nice, the teachers put soo much efforts and they explain very well. Practicals are conducted well, I personally don't like the faculty of lifesciences department as I think some of the teachers are quite biased and they are too slow. Samanth sir in chemistry is really excellent teacher, he treats every student equally and is very friendly, Microbiology's faculty is very precise and the subject too is interesting and the faculty as well, they are also very good at teaching and well prepared I must say.

Hostel: KC doesn't have any facilities for foreign students as they dont have hostel in the college, and the students can't live nearby on rent as the area is quite posh and will not appropriate for students.

My time in KC was fun mainly due to the students

Overall: I joined KC College since it was the only college in Mumbai that allowed an arts/commerce student to major in statistics. The combination I chose was Economics and statistics. The statistics department is not good but thankfully they switched us to the data science department in the third year. The economics department of KC is very active and organized many events, fests and competitions for the students. I learned more from taking part in these activities than in the classroom. KC's management is another thing that most students here complain about. In the end the activities and lenient attendance are KC college's strong points.

Placement: The placements in KC are really good for some courses such as B4, BAF and BMS. Other courses usually struggle to get placed and are not preferred by the companies that come to the college. Most of the companies that come for placements are from the financial sector.

Infrastructure: Since I joined KC the building has been under renovation. Our entire time in college was during these renovations which made it hard to find classrooms. The good news is that the renovations are almost over and the new classrooms have good infrastructure. The rooms are now fitted with ACs and corridors have new lockers in place.

Faculty: There are many faculty members who are friendly and many who can be a bit problematic. I have witnessed a few faculty members being frustrated and removing this frustration on students. I have also been close to some faculty members who have bought me gifts and been in touch personally. In general there is a broad range of faculty members with different personalities, some can be harsh and some can be nice

Hostel: Students that are not from Mumbai have to find a hostel outside of KC since the college does not have this facility. Some of my friends that are outstation have found hostels about 15-20 minutes away from college.

College environment

Overall: The college environment isn’t welcoming. If you’re an outsider it’ll take quite a while for you to fit in, and it makes it a task to rejuvenate with your batchmates who are particularly from mumbai.

Placement: The college can’t guarantee placement. Also the placement range only from 3 LPA to 6LPA which is not that great. The college campus doesn’t have a placement cell.

Infrastructure: The college is still under construction, the BMM in KC college takes place in the COLABA campus and for a while our classes used to take place in the auditorium because of not having bigger classrooms.

Hostel: They don’t offer accommodations and for that matter not most colleges in mumbai have hostel, even the campus is just one building so there’s not even a question of a hostel.

Staff of the college and gender norms

Overall: The college is good education wise and for everything else as well. They don’t answer the phone calls so it is quite hectic sometimes but rest it is good. No compromise with studies and life . The overall environment is pleasant and recommended.

Placement: There aren’t much options for students graduating from any university. But the placement for higher educational courses are good. So don’t get your hopes too high as long as you are not wanting to pursue the masters there aren’t much opportunities.

Infrastructure: The campus building is good. But there isn’t much space available. Lacks the availability for accommodation and dormitories. Rest the campus is good . Greenery is maintained. And overall environment is good.

Faculty: The teaching staff and the non teaching members all are good . They indeed are aware of their roles in the classroom and everywhere else in the campus. The staff is helpful.

Hostel: As there is not much space available in the city Mumbai so this college lacks the facility of hostel. The students coming from other states have to opt for pg’s and other residency. Which gets quite expensive for them.
