KIET Group of Institutions, Delhi-NCR, Ghaziabad has recently signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the Space Applications Centre (SAC) of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to strengthen academic and research interaction. The MOU provides an elite opportunity not only to KIETians but to all researchers and students of the North Indian region, as KIET is the first affiliated institution that grabbed this opportunity to align with the vision of ISRO.
The MOU was signed and exchanged between Sh. Nilesh M. Desai (Director SAC, ISRO) & Dr. A Garg (Director KIET Group of Institutions) at SAC, ISRO, Ahmedabad. Dr. S.S Sarkar (Deputy Director SAC, ISRO), Dr. Arti Sarkar (Group Director SAC, ISRO), and Dr. Parvin Kumar (Assistant Dean R&D, KIET Group of Institutions) were the witness and signing members of MOU.
The partnership aims to advance the development and application of technology, build deep tech capabilities, and promote collaborative conferences and workshops. These activities will include developing programs to enhance capabilities in selected areas for SAC, engaging in doctoral programs, and bringing the expertise of scientists into the classrooms at KIET.
Dr. A Garg mentioned that "We are delighted to collaborate with SAC for project-based learning and research. Our faculty and students will benefit from joint research projects, internships, and courses with the SAC scientists". “With their collective expertise and resources, they can create a research environment that fosters innovation and creativity, allowing for the exploration of new ideas and the advancement of knowledge in various fields.”, he added.
Sh. Nilesh Desai appreciated the institute's commitment to applied research. He said, “Team KIET will work on various novel aspects of satellite payloads with the mentorship of the SAC scientist Team. This partnership will go a long way in advancing technology and space research in India.” Team KIET can also register to attend the launch of satellites at Shriharikota for learning outcomes. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Arti Sarkar highlighted the work done so far with KIET. She also expressed her willingness to guide the KIET team. Dr. Parvin Kumar presented the progress of Space Technologies and stated that “this MOU provides a gateway to the faculty members and students of the Centre of Excellence for "Space Technologies" at KIET, which is working on designing Nanosatellite.

डॉ. ए गर्ग ने उल्लेख किया कि "प्रोजेक्ट-आधारित शिक्षा और अनुसंधान के लिए सैक-इसरो के साथ सहयोग करने पर हमें खुशी है। हमारे संकाय और छात्रों को सैक-इसरो के वैज्ञानिकों के साथ संयुक्त अनुसंधान परियोजनाओं, इंटर्नशिप और पाठ्यक्रमों से लाभ होगा"। "अपनी सामूहिक विशेषज्ञता और संसाधनों के साथ, वे एक अनुसंधान वातावरण बना पाएंगे, जो कि नवाचार और रचनात्मकता को बढ़ावा देता है, नए विचारों की खोज और विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में ज्ञान की उन्नति की अनुमति भी देता है।", उन्होंने कहा।
श्री नीलेश देसाई ने अनुप्रयुक्त अनुसंधान के प्रति संस्थान की प्रतिबद्धता की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा, "टीम काईट सैक-वैज्ञानिक टीम के परामर्श से उपग्रह पेलोड के विभिन्न नए पहलुओं पर काम करेगी। यह साझेदारी भारत में प्रौद्योगिकी और अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान को आगे बढ़ाने में एक लंबा रास्ता तय करेगी।” उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि टीम काईट श्रीहरिकोटा में उपग्रहों के प्रक्षेपण में भाग लेने के लिए पंजीकरण कर सकती है।
इस अवसर पर, डॉ. आरती सरकार ने काईट के साथ अब तक किए गए कार्यों पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने टीम काईट का मार्गदर्शन करने की इच्छा भी व्यक्त की। डॉ. परवीन कुमार ने स्पेस टेक्नोलॉजीज की प्रगति प्रस्तुत की और कहा कि "यह एमओयू केआईईटी में "स्पेस टेक्नोलॉजीज" के लिए सेंटर ऑफ़ एक्सीलेंस (सी०ओ०ई) के संकाय सदस्यों और छात्रों के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि है।

JEE Main Cutoff for Advanced 2024: To get eligible for JEE Advanced, candidates must aim for above 90 percentile and 250+ score in JEE Main. The JEE Main rank required to get eligible for JEE Advanced is around 500-1000. According to students who appeared for the exam, JEE Main session 2 exam was much easier. Hence, it is expected that JEE Main cutoff for advanced will see a jump this year. The expected minimum marks in JEE Main to qualify for JEE Advanced is 91+ for the general category, 74+ for OBC, 76+ for EWS, 55+ for SC, 40+ for ST, and 0.11+ for PwD categories.

JEE Main Result Release Time 2024 Session 2: The National Testing Agency is expected to release JEE Main Result 2024 Session 2 on April 24, 2024, at jeemain.nta.ac.in. The official time for the release has not been announced yet, however, based on last year’s analysis, it is expected to be out by late night i.e., by 11:55 PM on the same day, or by 3 or 4 AM on the next day, i.e., April 25, 2024. JEE Main final answer key 2024 Session 2 was released on April 22, and the result announcement can be expected within 24 hours after the release of the final answer key. The official date of result announcement was April 25 but NTA is expected to announce the results before the scheduled date.
JEE Main Percentile Rank 2024: The National Testing Agency releases the JEE Mains result 2024 in the form of a percentile score but the admission through JoSAA counselling 2024 is based on JEE Main rank. After the announcement of JEE Main results, the Joint Admission Board prepares a Common Rank List (CRL) and category-wise rank list after which the JoSAA counselling process begins.
