IM Nagpur Cutoff Percentile for GD/PI shortlisting decides who gets a chance to go ahead for the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Since the admission process is extremely competitive, meeting the minimum CAT percentile is the only way candidates can move to the next stage. The institute mainly uses CAT score as the deciding factor for shortlisting applicants for GD/ PI shortlisting. Similarly, the newer IIMs like Shillong, Ranchi, Raipur, Rohtak, Udaipur and Kashipur are likely to have a higher cutoff requirement ranging between 90th to 95th percentile. The sectional cutoff percentiles are calculated based on the ARC, DILR, and QA scores. 

IIM CAT 2025 SC Category Shortlisting Cutoff for all IIMs: The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) are renowned for their rigorous admission process. The IIM CAT 2025 SC Category Shortlisting Cutoff varies across different IIMs, with top IIMs having higher cutoffs. For instance, IIM Ahmedabad has a cutoff of 85 overall percentile with 75 in VARC, DILR, and QA, while IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta have a cutoff of 70 overall percentile with 65 in VARC and 60 in DILR and QA. IIM Lucknow has a cutoff of 65 overall percentile with 55 in VARC, DILR, and QA. It's worth noting that the general cutoff is higher than the SC category cutoff for CAT across IIMs. Factors affecting the cutoffs include the number of applicants, availability of seats, and performance in other sections. 

OBC Category CAT 2025 Shortlisting Cutoff for all IIMs: The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) are known for their highly competitive admission procedures. The CAT 2025 shortlisting cutoff for the OC category differs from one IIM to another, with premier institutes setting comparatively higher benchmarks. For example, IIM Ahmedabad requires an overall percentile of 90 along with sectionals of 80 in VARC, DILR, and QA. In contrast, IIM Lucknow’s cutoff stands at 82 overall percentile with 77 in each of the three sections. 

IIM-wise ST Category CAT 2025 Shortlisting Cutoff: Candidates can check ST Category CAT 2025 Shortlisting Cutoffs for all 19 IIMs in the table below. These cutoffs represent overall scores, combining Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension. While some IIMs have declared official thresholds, others are estimated based on previous trends (marked tentative) to help gauge eligibility. As per released data, IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Calcutta have cutoffs of 75, 65, and 65, respectively. The lowest cutoffs are likely for IIM Sambalpur, Amritsar, Bodhgaya, and Kashipur—around 40.
