My experience at KJSIEIT has been nothing short of transformative, offering a well-rounded education and a solid foundation for a successful career in the IT industry. The curriculum offered in the IT Engineering program is exceptional, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical experience.

Overall: KJ Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (KJSIEIT) in Mumbai is a premier institution that offers a comprehensive education in the field of Information Technology (IT). As a student in the IT department, I have had an enriching and fulfilling experience at KJSIEIT. One of the key strengths of the institute is its faculty. The professors at KJSIEIT are highly knowledgeable and experienced, with expertise in various domains of IT.

Placement: KJSIEIT places a strong emphasis on industry interactions and placements. The institute has tie-ups with leading IT companies, and regularly organizes guest lectures, internships, and campus recruitment drives. This ensures that students have ample opportunities to gain practical exposure, intern at renowned organizations, and secure promising job offers.

Infrastructure: University has beautiful infrastructure with all the required facilities. It is providing cafeteria facility, wifi connectivity, stationary facility, library facility, smart classrooms and laboratories with all the necessary equipments.

Faculty: One of the key strengths of the institute is its faculty. The professors at KJSIEIT are highly knowledgeable and experienced, with expertise in various domains of IT. They not only possess a strong academic background but also have industry exposure, which enables them to provide practical insights and real-world examples during lectures. The faculty members are approachable and always willing to clarify doubts, mentor students, and guide them in their academic pursuits.

Hostel: The hostel services at our college is good with a whole dedicated building for hostel the charges also are average and this hostel facilities are good than any other college also the accessibility is also great as it is very near to the college

Overall: KJSIT is an autonomous institute which gives the college the opportunity to design the curriculum with keeping the latest industry trends in mind. Also, the faculties are really very supportive and ensures an all round development of the students. The Department of Information Technology is the best. The faculties of IT department are always helping out students with their issues no matter what time it is. The Department of IT believes in Project Based Learning and are developing some awesome projects which are in use in real world, be it a Load Prediction app for Tata power, Health care app for ASHA workers in Sholapur district, etc. Also, the culture and respect among students in KJSIT is really good. The seniors are always willing to help their juniors.

Placement: Companies like Jio, Accenture, Cognizant, Media.net, IDFC First bank, Seclore, etc visited this year (2022-23) for campus placement. The highest package for this year was 13.8 LPA where as the average package was 4.5 LPA

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. KJSIT has all the required softwares and lab equipments ro build some good innovative Projects. The ambiance is also really nice. Department of IT has its separate building.

Faculty: The Head of the department, Dr. Radhika Kotecha ma'am who has been my project guide since second year is the best mentor one could ever get. She has been more than just a project guide to me, igniting my research mindset, encouraging me to put my learnings to innovate good projects especially making a societal contributions. From mentoring me to win the "National Award" to become a Gold Medalist at State Level Research Convention, going beyond the typical working hours and guiding me throughout even if it's 2 AM. The whole department has been very supportive of whatever I wanted to pursue and achieve and I'm very thankful to every faculty, lab staff and especially HOD ma'am as well as Principal Sir and the Institute for giving me the opportunity and shaping me to be a better engineer and learn something everyday, every moment.

Hostel: Hostel facilities are available in 2 campus es, Vidyavihar and Ayurvihar. New hostel building is developed in Ayurvihar campus which also comprises of Hospital, football fields and a physiotherapy hospital

Overall: The college overall is decent. It is what you will expect from a tier-III college in Mumbai. The infrastructure is good and clean. The faculty are knowledgeable.

Placement: There were a few good companies that came to the college this year. IDFC, Deloitte India, Reliance, etc. IDFC gave the highest package by far 13.5CTC which is very good considering the college ranking.

Infrastructure: The IT department has a new building which is extremely pretty. Plenty of natural sunlight. It is a joy to sit in the open canteen that has been made. A break form the suffocating urban landscape.

Faculty: The faculty in the college are quite okay. A couple of the faculty in the IT department are brilliant, If you have the opportunity to work under them it will be a very good enhancement to your career.

Hostel: The Sion campus has a new hostel. It is very modern and elegant to look at. I do not stay in the hostel so cannot give a very detailed view about these facilities but my fellow students find the facilities decent.

Overall: KJ Somaiya Institute of Technology's IT department provided me with an exceptional education and valuable industry exposure. The knowledgeable faculty, excellent infrastructure, and strong industry connections prepared me for success in the IT field. The college's focus on holistic development, inclusive campus life, and decent placement rate make it a top choice for aspiring students. I highly recommend KJ Somaiya Institute of Technology for its quality education and supportive environment.

Overall: KJSIEIT is accredited with grade ’A’ by NAAC and also several programs are accredited by NBA. KJSIEIT is one of the best institutes under the University of Mumbai and the institute offers BE in IT, Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunication and ME in Data Science & AI

Overall: K.J. Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (KJSIEIT) is located in Sion, Mumbai. KJSIEIT College is nearer Sion as well as chunabhatti railway station. Also the colleges connected to the highway. Hence the students can travel easily by any means of transport.

Overall: KJSIEIT is approved by AICTE and DTE. It is accridited by NAAC and permanently affiliated to Mumbai University. Overall student life is full of enjoyment.

Overall: All in all, it is a great college that mainly contributes to the growth and overall development of the students in all aspects. The students here are always approachable and helpful towards each other. Our college provides the best platform for a student's personality development, team management skills and communication skills as it gives them the opportunity to be a part of many globally recognized committees and councils. I enjoyed my experience here and would highly recommend it to others.

Overall: KJSIEIT is a college in the Mumbai city having two stations sion and chunabhati to reach over there. the fees are decent and is a true value for money. the campus life is what it is best for. vast campus lots of grounds for various outdoor activities.

Placement: The placement process is quite good. Every year many well-known companies come to our college to hire students. our College has an efficient, hard-working, and dedicated placement committee for the students. All placements and internships are taken care of by the committee. They are always approachable for all job-related issues.
