Mizoram University has begun the admission process for the academic year 2024-25. JEE Main 2024 session 2 registration will end on March 2, 2024. JEE Main 2024 session 2 will be conducted from April 4 - April 15, 2024. JEE Main 2024 will be followed by the JoSAA counselling 2024 for final admission to BTech at Mizoram University. Aspiringing candidates should know that the CUET PG and UG 2024 will be conducted from March 11 - 28, 2024, and May 15 - 31, 2024, respectively.

The Mizoram University Aizawl was established in 2001. It is a public university for higher education. It is recognised by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and AICTE. Mizoram University holds ‘A’ NAAC accreditation and affiliation from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The university was ranked 78th  by the NIRF rankings in 2022. Mizoram University has nine schools and 41 departments that offer a range of general and professional courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. Mizoram University courses are offered in engineering, economics, management, information services, education, mass communication, humanities, life sciences, fine arts, architecture, earth sciences, natural resource management, and medical and paramedical sciences. It also provides massive open online courses, online bachelor's and master's degrees,  certificates, diplomas, and executive programmes. 

Mizoram University campus is around 978-acre and consists of classrooms, laboratories, modern equipment, seminar halls, departmental libraries, computer labs, administrative blocks, a central library, a DST incubation centre, an ICT centre, MOOCs Studios, a Natural history museum, an engineering workshop, amphitheatre, auditorium, guesthouse, business centre, basketball court, multipurpose hall, banking, and postal facilities.

Mizoram University Admission 2024 to all the courses is entrance-based or merit-based. Some of the entrance exams accepted are JEE Main, GATE, and CUET. GATE 2024 will be held on February 3, February 4, February 10, and February 11, 2024' GATE 2024 is the entrance for Mizoram University MTech admission 2024.

The university releases a merit list for various courses on the official website. The MZU application is available in both online/offline modes. For Mizoram University admission students need to qualify for various national/state-level entrance exams for courses like B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, and MBA. It also conducts a university-level entrance examination (MZU-EEE) for admission if students have not appeared for the entrance exam. Students with a valid JEE Mains 2023 rank card can check the  Mizoram University B.Tech cutoff 2023. The cutoff is provided in the form of opening and closing ranks.

• Hostel – Mizoram University hostel, is spacious and well-furnished, with the availability of a large dining hall. With a total of seventeen hostels provided with recreational facilities such as TVs, health clubs, indoor games, and PCOs, each hostel has its live-in wardens and a faculty member who administers the accommodation. It is to be noted that admission to Mizoram University doesn't ensure guaranteed hostel accommodation due to the limited capacity of the hostels. Mizoram University offers accommodation to applicants based on different factors. Mizoram University has 7 hostels 4 for girls(140 capacity) and 3 for boys(162 capacity) which are named Phawngpui Hostel, Lengteng Hostel, Dingdi Ainawn Hostel, and Senhri Hostel. • Sports –The Mizoram University campus has outdoor and indoor games facilities for students' recreation, including basketball, badminton, tennis courts, cricket, and football grounds. • IT Infrastructure –Mizoram University has set up facilities for in-house use of email, Computers, and internet services for all students, project staff, and faculty members. This unit of the University offers a variety of E-services to the students in the context of literature search, computation, and graphics.
• Laboratories – Mizoram University laboratories are air-conditioned and equipped with various modern instrumental facilities inside them related to all the fields. They are sophisticated but well-equipped, where more than 40 students can perform their experiments simultaneously.
