About Mohan Babu University
Mohan Babu University is a state private university established in 1992. Located in Tirupati, Chittoor District, the university is backed by Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust under the leadership of Dr M. Mohan Babu. The university has been approved by UGC and accredited A+ by NAAC. It comprises seven schools namely the School of Engineering and Technology, School of Management, School of Paramedical and Health Sciences, School of Liberal Art and Sciences, School of Art and Design, School of Agriculture, School of Media Studies, and School of Film Academy. It is also the first state private university in Andhra Pradesh to offer a flexible choice-based credit system to Plan Own Degree (POD).
