Admission to Diploma courses in MS Ramaiah Polytechnic is done on the basis of merit in Class 10th or qualifying examination. There is no entrance exam conducted by the institute. For students to get admission into Diploma in Computer Science Engineering program, they must have completed their S.S.L.C or equivalent examination with at least 35% aggregate marks. Additionally, they must have completed at least five full academic years of study in Karnataka between Class I and the qualifying examination. If your son has passed his Class 10th examination from the CBSE/ ICSE or any other state board, he will have to produce suppprting Eligibility Certificates obtained from the Secretary, Board of Technical Examinations.
