Narula Institute of Technology B.Tech in Information Technology - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2026

Overall: I am a 3rd year B.Tech student (2023–2027 batch) at Narula Institute of Technology, and my experience so far has been decent and practical. The college follows the MAKAUT curriculum, so academics are structured but students also need to focus on self-study and skill development. Some faculty members are very helpful and supportive, especially during exams and project work.I am recently working on a mini project with my teammates.The campus has good infrastructure with proper classrooms, labs, WiFi, library and basic facilities for students. Technical fests, cultural programs and workshops are conducted regularly which help in overall exposure and interaction with other students.some days ago, we participated in a event name OPUS phase 1 and it was so exciting. it is about presentation giving about our mini project. Regarding placements, the college provides training sessions, aptitude classes and placement drives. Opportunities are available, but students need to build their own skills and projects to get better offers. Some well-known companies visit mainly for entry-level roles. Overall, Narula Institute of Technology is a decent choice for students who are willing to work on themselves along with academics. With proper effort, participation in activities and continuous learning, students can make good use of the opportunities provided here.

Placement: Placements are average but improving every year.last year highest package was 21 lLpa I think and lowest was 2-3 Lpa. Service-based companies visit regularly and provide opportunities for freshers. Students who focus on coding skills, internships, and projects have better chances of getting placed. The college also arranges training sessions and mock interviews to help students prepare. However, high package opportunities are limited, so students should work on their own skills alongside college support.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Narula Institute of Technology is decent and suitable for academic learning. Classrooms are spacious with basic digital teaching facilities. The computer labs and departmental labs are functional and useful for practical sessions and mini projects. They change the lab materials if there is any problem re occuring. The maintenance is good enough.The library has a good collection of academic books and a quiet study environment for students. Campus WiFi is available in most areas, though speed can vary at times. The campus is clean and well-maintained with common areas for students to sit and study. Overall, the infrastructure supports regular academic activities, but some lab equipment and internet connectivity can still be improved for better practical exposure.Currently me and my teammates have used the labs for the mini project work I told earlier. The teachers in the lab are helpful too.

Faculty: Most faculty members are helpful and approachable, especially in the IT department. They try to explain concepts with practical examples and provide notes before exams which are very useful. Some teachers are highly experienced and guide students for projects and internships. Teaching quality can vary depending on the subject, but overall the faculty is supportive if students are genuinely interested in learning and asking questions.

Hostel: I personally do not stay in the hostel, but based on my friends’ experience, the hostel facilities at Narula Institute of Technology are decent and manageable for students coming from outside Kolkata. Rooms are shared and include basic furniture and necessary amenities. Security and wardens are present, and rules are maintained properly. The food quality is average and manageable for daily living. Cleanliness is generally maintained, though improvement in maintenance and food variety would make the experience better. Overall, the hostel is suitable for students who want a safe and affordable place near the campus.

Overall: The university provides a balanced environment for both academic and personal growth. The faculty members are well-qualified, approachable, and supportive, ensuring that students gain a strong understanding of their subjects.

Placement: The university regularly invites reputed companies from diverse sectors such as IT, core engineering, management, healthcare, and law, ensuring that students from all streams get fair placement opportunities

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is one of its strongest aspects, providing students with an environment that supports both academic learning and personal growth. The campus is well planned

Faculty: The faculty at this University plays a vital role in shaping the overall academic experience of students. Most of the professors and lecturers are highly qualified, with strong academic backgrounds

Hostel: The hostel facilities at this University are designed to provide students with a comfortable and safe living environment, making it easier for them to focus on academics and extracurricular activities

Placement: 85 percentage students of Narula institute of technology gets placed on campus . And some students go for higher education . 5 lpa is average, 2 lpa is lowest and 18 lpa is highest package of this college.

Hostel: Hostel of Narula institute of technology is good and infrastructure of this college is well maintained . Food is good not so much . 36000 per semester fees for hostel.

Overall: I was looking for an institution to pursue my B.Tech degree with my WBJEE rank. Upto 12th grade, i've completed my schooling life from a government school run by the WBCHSE board. Therefore, I had no such experience with private institutions. But after coming in Narula Institute of Technology, I'm genuinely pleased. The academic program, placement history, infrastructure, and college campus are all outstanding. I advise anyone who is unsure about taking admission here, to visit our institution & talk with the admission cell. Your all doubts will be cleared with clarification

Infrastructure: Our college is NAAC 'A' Grade accredited for our beautiful campus infrastructure.As compared to other colleges, there's a wide range of campus area we've in our college. In addition, we've a well decorated library with enough books for every semester & for beyond curriculum also. You can check out any book & be able to read them in the study room. Our college has its own cafeteria where we can enjoy our free time. There're air conditioning systems in every lab. Our classrooms are large enough in size where 60-70 students can easily sit without any problem.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very knowledgeable about the subjects they teach, and have a wealth of experience as well. They teach every topic using practical examples of daily life, which is very helpful to understand. And the best thing i love that they are really approachable and make it easier for everyone to understand. They always allow to ask our doubts and get them answered. They put a strong emphasis on teaching us with the essential skills needed to get placements after our course completion.

Hostel: I'm not familiar with the facilities provided in our college hostel since I don't stay there, but I've heard from my friend who lives in the hostel that they provide three meals a day, which include a variety of vegetables, eggs, fish, and more. Additionally, there is extra care taken for the girls' hostel. They have specific check-in and check-out times for the hostel. The main attraction of the college hostel is that they provide 24-hour WiFi facilities. Our college hostel is cleaned thoroughly every day."

Overall: The college is very nice and has a good environment, The faculties are well-qualified and helpful to each and every student. they're ensuring no student feels isolated or lost. The university aims to provide quality education and foster research and innovation among its students. It has modern infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories, libraries, and other facilities to support academic and research activities.

Infrastructure: The institute is providing a good atmosphere for students and faculties in the campus. Twenty four hour uninterrupted power & water supply and two tier security enables the resident to stay in the campus. Besides this twenty four hour Medical facilities, Internet, ATM, Cafeteria and other services are available in the campus.

Hostel: Hostels were good. The food quality was better. Rooms are good in size, washrooms are neat and clean.There were no unique facilities in the hostels. Medical facilities were available 24X7, ,

Overall: Overall, based on my own college experience, I would advise any kid pursuing further education to enroll there. The institution offers a wide range of resources, including cutting-edge learning environments, knowledgeable instructors, frequent alumni gatherings and workshops to support the students, cultural events, etc.

Placement: This college offers excellent campus placement; with your professional work, you can get good packages there.Every year, a large number of reputable companies hire students from this college.

Infrastructure: The college's facilities are lovely, well-kept, and well-organized. Its campus is excellent overall, with excellent classrooms, a large library, a workshop, and a fine canteen.

Faculty: The faculty at the institution are informed and experienced, and they are always willing to share their knowledge with us. They prepare us for the obstacles we will encounter in the future. They are always available to answer questions about tests and placements.

Hostel: The hostel accomodation is excellent. The rooms are large and equipped with all of the conveniences that students require, such as shared beds, study tables, and ample storage space. The mess food is nutritional, hygienic, and tasty. The overall environment of the hostel is secure and safe.

Overall: The college is very good for studying and placement of college is also good .so overall infrastrucure of college is very good and student of college is also good .

Placement: In last year 69 percent studemt placed in last year .placement in college was very good. And avg pacakage of college was 8 lpa per annum .so amazing placement offer.

Infrastructure: Very good infrasture of college .classroom and hostel infrasture is very good. Very neat and clean classroom and amazing overall infrasture developmemt .

Faculty: Faculty of college is very outstanding awesome.all professor are very well develop teaching style .All professor are of scientist and top level .All professor have outstanding knowledge.

Hostel: Hostel of college was very good.All security guards alwa Protect student all time. Guard behaviour and staff behaviour of hostel was very good like best friend.

Overall: I was in 2021 B.Tech batch at Narula Institute of Technology. The college is amazing in terms of organisation, faculty, the quality education. The placements are good too,

Placement: I think the placements were average for 2021 batch. The 2022 batch received the highest package of 27 Lakh per annum. Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, and others came for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is also good of Narula. The department buildings are separate. I don't know much about the hostel but it is provided on campus. The labs equipment are also in good working condition.

Faculty: The faculty team of the college and specially my department is amazing. They are always ready to help and solve any queries the student may have. Apart from this the faculty also has deep understanding of the subject they teach.

Hostel: Hostel of Narula Institute of Technology are good. The facilities provided are also good. As I was a day scholar I can't comment much on the hostels but my friends suggest that the hostels are good.

Placement: NIT can boast of superb placements in year-on-year basis. has very high placement ratio. Has dedicated and very helpful placement department which maintains round-the-year liaison with industry HRs.

Faculty: NIT provides skilled teaching staffs with emphasis on individual attention, very helpful and informative non-teaching staffs who always are available for any or all student issues.

Hostel: NIT hostels are comfortable and have homely atmosphere ; it provides free wifi, and has overall very nice accommodation and facilities, with good food and strict administration.
